For me, I'd have to say Strawberry Swing, Cemeteries of London, and Lovers in Japan.

It has to be Cemeteries Of London. Since I know almost nothing about the album, I'm pretty much anticipating it all equally, but just from the titles, that's the one I'm most curious about.

I agree, it's the title for me too.

And I think Strawberry Swing is supposedly gonna be a single (not a 100% sure), so it's obviously good.

Oh, and how could I forget 42? I'm a Hitch-hikers Guide fan, so I'm hoping it has a reference of sorts.

Strawberry Swing because of the African strings and tablas... and the awesomely strange lyrics.

1. 42 (cause they say its the most radiohead-like one)

2. yes! (cause ive dreamed about this song, wonder how close the one i heard in my dream was to the real one)

3. cemeteries of london (2nd song in album, and the artwork looks interesting, and it has hand claps)

(42 is the obvious answer so i'm just assuming it's an understood fact how excited EVERYONE is for that one)

The Rolling Stone description was intriguing... But I guess I can't wait to hear everything on the album. Any song could end up being my new favorite Coldplay song! :D

42 and cemetaries off the album, but from all the tracks we've heard of, i'd say famous old painters, rainy day, and especially postcards from far away :dance:

The whole album, but specifically Cemeteries of London (just 'cause the name intrigues me) and Death and All His Friends (just to hear what the second title track sounds like).

 

EDIT: I'm also anxious to hear all the songs that didn't make the album, since those will be just as good or better.

I swear I started the exact same thread late last week!

 

But nevertheless, it has to be Cemeteries of London for me! It was my favourite title from the original list and the descriptions make it sound like it'll be quite the choon! Also quite looking forward to Yes/Chinese Sleep Chant and 42 of course.

all the songs will be different and all will be very good...

but 42 seems to be the best song on the record and escapist seems to have the same theme as LiT but maybe with lyrics..

so I'd say 42 and escapist
