This is just something I was wondering yesterday.. seeing as many of us feel so strong about Coldplay and spend most of our time doing Coldplay related stuff..

 

What would you be doing if there was no Coldplay?

 

I'd probably go out more often, I'd be mentally sane :P ..but at same time I think I'd be pretty empty and I'd probably be one of those greedy Radiohead fans lol

I would actually have a life ! :P

Id be a hardcore Cheeky Girls fan. I like them but because I like Coldplay obsessivly theres no room for CG!

oops double posted.. so i might aswell use this one to say that life would have alot less passion in it without coldplay

I'm not sure what life would be like. Well, if they were never here, then there wouldn't be anyone to miss. But if they left and no more them, I'd cry.

I would probably be lovin' another band. You wouldn't know what you were missing if there had never been coldplay.

I would be a Limp Bizkit fan. I used to be before I discovered what real music was.

With no Coldplay, I doubt I'd ever meet some people I have (I'm really grateful for that) and I'd never discover other great music (Radiohead included, I guess).

I would probaly never got into rock or good music cause Coldplay came along and that also allowed me to discover other great music. I probaly with be of what 90% of kids will be listening to right now. Its disguss me to think about it, me listening to Soulja Boy :vomits:

I listened to rap before I got into Coldplay >>

 

It went from rap, to Linkin Park (rap/rock) to Coldplay... and Coldplay opened the window to alternative-/psychedelic/indie/prog-/post-/electronic/art-/math- rock <insert badass rock smilie here>

I used to listen to Britney Spears before I got into Coldplay :laugh3:

so i don't even have any other artists as favorites.

 

well i will stick to my own country india classical music or some film based music in india or

 

i'll better learn to make music for myself and listen it.

yeah so just recently i was listening to some indian songs when coldplay were still in studio.

 

and as they came back now again with new stuff i am over the moon with it.

I seriously can't imagine life without Coldplay.

does anyone think that if their memory ever got erased and someone showed them like a Coldplay picture they would probably recognize it or at least feel like a little tingle? :D

I wouldn't be here right now if there was no coldplay.

 

I was young, and I went through such a rough time,

my mum passed away when I was 13, I remember feeling like I'd lost everything.

 

and I remember AROBTTH had just came out,

that album saved my life

 

their music really got me by - the scientist and warning sign (especially warning sign)

 

then I went out and bought parachutes, and other songs really lifted my spirit, Everythings not lost really made me realise that I could put it all behind me.

 

and so, in short, Coldplay saved my life.

 

and I thought I would share this with you all,

because you're all great people :)

Hey dude you're totally not alone on that. Even tho I know a lot of people don't care for it, Warning Sign helped me get through some tough times and so did Everything's Not Lost (when my parents got divorced).
