How would your life be with no Coldplay?

Featured Replies

*thinking back on almost last 6 years*

*i would procastinate less, so probably will mean i would have almost finished the second degree by now.

* would be feeling less happy, and would not had the strenght to recover from the worst time of my life.

*would kept listening surely only the same music (mike oldfield, the police, led zeppelin, bob marley, blondie, triana).

*would not feel strong as to show my writings

*would not improve my english, learnt portuguese (and finnish :wacky: )

*not met many great people, and not travel abroad (and not even far from my own city)

* not decide to try other artistical skills, as music, painting and photography and share creative ideas with other artists here.

* would not use as much music softwares as i do.

probably there are more things i could add on that list but i can't remember now.

ah yes, probably i would not had stayed at least one whole night waiting for Violet Hill to be released :wacky:

well thinking back about music, i think i would have checked the same stuff i've checked since i listened coldplay (used to be hardcore alternative/britpop listener fewer years after i got into them (2004-2005), now i'm opening to more genres again (punk, metal, progressive..)), but may be i would had mix it with crap i should be sorry later.

I would definitely be richer...

I like a lot of bands and there are a lot of good bands around but something would be missing without Coldplay.Would some of these bands even exist without Coldplay.Maybe not.

Plus, they made me listen to other bands just because they "advertised" them. Maybe I wouldn't know Elbow without Coldplay.Who knows.

I'd actually have money. :laugh3:

This!

I don't know...

Probably I wouldn't be as excited about somethings...

I'd still been looking for a favourite band (or i'd be fan of another band)...

And as said before, I wouldn't have met so many amazing people...

Coldplay's music has helped me out so much the last 2 years, without them a lot of stuff I've bee through might have been harder, finding them was one of the best things that could ever happened to me.

I'd be richer, or maybe I might have spent my money on reggaeton (:uhoh:), I'd never have found coldplaying.com and haven't met some many people from so many different places that without this place I might have never gotten to meet.

And last, I'd never had met my best friend, and really, I don't even wanna think about it!

Life would be dull. Coldplay gives me this hunger for LIFE. When I listen to them, I want to DO things like run outside in the rain, stargaze with my siblings, write music and record them and share them with friends... They've inspired me to start playing instruments again, to be the best that I can be and do whatever I can do when I'm still able to do things.

Seriously, some people think that's just sad, but to me, Coldplay provide the soundtrack to my life, and soundtracks are important because they reflect my mood; they help me to remember certain important moments in my life...

Thank you Coldplay!

Without Coldplay, life would be less colourful.

My life without coldplay? at least i got Radiohead.

i would be obsessed with linkin park which i was for a while.(still my second favorite band)

i guess id be hearing more hard rock music and id be a little agressive and rebellious and hating the world. because without a rush of blood to the head to help me through middle school, id be listening to more hard rock that focus on anger towards the world.lol

i would not have pursued my dream to learn to play the piano after hearing "clocks"

i would go to sleep A LOT earlier instead of being on coldplaying.com or coldplay.com looking at the timeline AGAIN and thinking how far theyve come and how fast time flies.

i would not get made fun of for being obsessed and going on a website that supports my obsession.lol

overall i had thought about how my life would be and it would be horribly boring lame and everything else that sucks, without them.

so glad i found them!! i found out what REAL music is.

i LOVE coldplay and its such a cool name for a band too, i love saying it: coldplay coldplay coldplay

incomplete by the backstreet boys.

listen.

Without Coldplay, i'd have never got into piano, i decided to learn piano since i listened to Clocks for the first time, i've been inspired by their music since then.

I think the positives of liking coldplay outweight the negatives. This would mean i would be worse off without them.

My life would be exactly the same... I'd just listen to slightly different music.

life just wouldnt exist. There would be no universe.

A corny as it sounds...

there'd be nothing for me, since Coldplay is everything.

I would have nothing.

I would do nothing.

Life would be terrible.

My life would be saner.

hehe, but I like the insane way

Without coldplay...

I wouldnt of gotten my piano

I wouldn't of gotten a scholarship to study in London(since my essay was about chris)

my life would be empty

I would be a Limp Bizkit fan. I used to be before I discovered what real music was.

Limp Bizkit, Jesus Christ I was dumb.:\

it's okay, i used to love Green Day, until I discovered beautiful, real and amazing music..cough cough coldplay :)

i wouldn't have gotten so close to my three best friends...and when i'm sad/or in a bad mood i'd have nothing to cheer me up, or nothing to boost my happiness to crazy heights without their music. i love them so much. there music...nothing else compares.

you wrote an essay about Chris?

Lol! yes. We had to write about "a britsh person you admire". It was so funny because when I got to London all the kids in the program were discussing who they had written about. They were saying names like "Shakespeare" and "Winston Chruchill"...and then it was my turn and I was like "I wrote about Chris Martin, from Coldplay":smug::smug:

that's awesome! i'm sure Chris would love that you wrote about him. :wacky::heart::D

Lol! yea. i wish i could tell him:D:D
