Did anyone see the commercial during idol yesterday. I almost missed it while fast forwarding. But, I saw out of the corner of my eye "Coldplay" and had to rewind. It was an apple commercial for their new single they will be selling. I think it was Viva La Vida....

 

lyrics were church cathedral bells....etc...

 

sounded interesting...sounded like their old selves with a little dance vibe going on

Dude that song has been out for a long time. Nothing new there besides the commercial.

Go to itunes and look up the new album, it is available there and has been since about 2 weeks ago. It sat at the number 2 spot in the American Itunes chart for a pretty good while.

I don't think they'd premiere the VLV video on TRL today.... I mean, the VH video is pretty old news for us but not for the rest of the world. I think if they were to premiere the VLV video today... we would already have it :D

I've seen the VH video on Youtube but not in TV, and I chek VH1 and MTV every day. Am I unlucky or they aren't broadcasting it?

Agreed, that seems like a little too much for people who aren't as addicted as we are. Not too many artists release two videos in the same week, let alone two singles :confused:

The thing is....if it was something big, like, say, a single, it would have happened already.

 

I think what we should be concentrating on is WHEN we WILL get this new stuff (single and/or big news), because that article isn't speculation or rumor. It's DAVE. SAYING categorically that something big was going to go down, on the 21st. Perhaps the date changed, but I find the idea that there is no longer anything big to announce unlikely.

Good point! Its still wayyy before the album drops so this could just be the "launch" of the global initiative...
