i'm pretty short, about 5'4" on a good day. politically liberal, very into novels, movies, and music.

 

i go to college in PA, but i'm probably going to end up transferring next winter so i can get a better education in my field, which is film, specifically screenwriting. this summer i'm living and working in the netherlands as an au pair, with a side trip to england, and i plan to study in england for the 2009-2010 school year. i'm kind of obsessed with england :D

and no, i don't binge-drink or the like. i'm painfully clean-cut :P

Not to change the subject but it's always baffled me how my girl-friends will swear up and down they aren't attracted to the idea of two guys making love, yet on here I see evidence that women like thinking about that kind of thing. Guys are turned on by women kissing each other, so the corollary makes sense... I would publish a sociological paper on this but I've got an Italian exam in a few hours.

 

Slash girls are an entirely different breed. Most of the rest of us just point at them and laugh. And that's all I have to say about that... :rolleyes:

 

Hey just wondering, are there lots of people who go out binge drinking here? For some reason Coldplay fans don't really seem like the types to drink 'till they puke - but maybe I'm wrong (binge drinking does happen quite a lot here, even if they don't always call it that).

I've found Coldplay fans land on every part of the spectrum there. Though I don't drink, myself- I just don't enjoy it.

I am a 31 year old female from Chicago, IL, USA. I work for a medical record company and attend school full time for a healthcare administration degree. I have been a casual Coldplay fan since 2000 and a recent convert to a Coldplay obsessed lifestyle.

 

I have been to one live show, August 13, 2005 at Alpine Valley. My favorite album is ROBTTH and my favorite song is "Swallowed in the Sea." My friends were all casual listeners around the release of X&Y, but most of them have moved on to other musical interests.

Don't feel bad about feeling old, I have 15 years on ya. Hell, I could be mum to any one of the boys in the band and I'm still a fan.

I love music and movies. I've been a Coldplay fan since late after Parachutes but I REALLY started doing the drug called Coldplay after the first time I heard The Scientist. I've wanted to be a sound engineer since early high school and I start interning at a Cincinnati studio in the fall. I hope to make my way down to Nashville some day, and if the stars are aligned and the sun is revolving around the Earth then hopefully I'll get a chance to work with my favorite band :)... I also have a rare disease called videogame-itis and I work at GameStop. I teach myself guitar and piano and I enjoy all kinds of music... when I'm not listening to Coldplay that is ;)

I'm Lívia and I'm 17 years old. Well, I got into Coldplay with clocks, back in 2004. Coldplay was the very first band that made me fell in love with their music. Before that, I didn't even like music that much. But then, the band showed me a whole new world of amazing stuff. I'm on the last high school year and I pretend to be an architect. I like to draw and to paint although I'm not that good on it. I like to go out with my friends and have some good laughs and great conversations. I really love to help whoever and whenever I can. I take piano classes (basically bacause of Coldplay) and when I'm in front of it I forget about everything else. I love history, maths and I hope to write something someday. Oh, and I love to learn.

I went into healthcare to please my parents and work for Walgreens as a "floating" pharmacist (different store every day).:cry: I have been doing that for nearly 3 years, make lots of money, and I hate it. I need to see a hypnotist and rethink my life. Coldplay are trying to give me a shove in the right direction. And I hear them every day at work. I heard Clocks twice today.

 

I like to figure their songs out on piano and guitar. And sing when no one is home.
