Both performances were stellar. I absolutely love Lost! live, it's amazing.

Wow, those performances were surprising smooth and well done (unlike ANY of their live shows so far.) I'm not quite convinced though :P I'm hopefully looking forward to more live performances like these. Good job guys!

Any of them? I'd have to disagree with that. MTV awards were bad, the German show was bad, Jimmy Kimmel was ok, but Jonathan Ross and this have both been fantastic. Brixton was great too, he messed up once or twice but overall the gig was fantastic.

 

They've been slowly ironing out the kinks with the promotional stuff and it's paying off.

Gah, the Brixton show sounded HORRIBLE to me. I couldn't even stand to make it all the way through "Strawberry Swing" and some of the others.....all off key...off beat......*sigh*

Someone please rip them, they take ages to load, allthough ive seen them now and they were amazing, its annoying to have to pause them every few seconds because it didnt stream properly :P

And sorry but the outfits are beginning to get on my nerves... I mean, Jonny and Guy and Will look very good in theirs, but Chris's pants don't look very good to me... I'm beginning to find his jacket a bit annoying as well... :confused:[/size]

 

I've sort of been hoping that they have many identical sets of these outfits, because they've been wearing the same clothes to EVERYTHING!

I saw part of the Brixton Gig and looked pretty good...The BBC sounded good...I saw some clips of MSG and that didn't sound all too bad considering some of the bad reviews I was reading.

now I have to see this at home! I'm glad that they played their other songs on the album. Too bad I don't have cable!

The men of Coldplay are still in NYC after doing their free show at MSG, Chris Martin is still in NYC because I imagine he and Gwyneth have fabulous loft spaces in all of the world's great cities. Yet for the extended stay and the ample closet space, the band refuses to change clothes, right down to Will's sheer shirt and tie combination, and Chris's dusty jacket (it's dirty being revolutionary in the French countryside, guys) with "V" emblazoned white undershirt. My guess? They smell. (Despite the daily dry cleaning.) Regardless, they sound nice on "42," they sound great on "Lost!" which is a bona fide Viva jam, and they make Jon feel silly in his used car salesman suit (which in turn makes Chris effusively giggly). Celebrities, they're neurotic just like us! Except when they channel their neuroses into world-moving entertainment. That's a pretty cool trick.
