AM i the only one that thinks its weird?! On the see tickets website they have standing avaliabel for other bands. WHYYYYY IS THERE NO STANDING!?!?!

dont forget the feckin prices, £50 after booking fees and postage

I'm not happy with this no standing. I've never sat at a Coldplay gig. No one's going to sit anyway - its just ridiculous.

Completely agree with you! Its just so weird. I go to a lot of gigs, never have they all been all seating, didn't think Coldplay would've been the sort to do it either, oh well! Me and the bf have saved ourselves nearly £100 though, and we've seen Coldplay before a few times, not to worry :D

i am 99% sure they are not standing, probably just floor seats

coldplay are meant to be a rock/indie band. how can they expect you to sit down?

That's because the touts hedge their bets and put tickets on for sale before they've actually bought them/obtained them themselves. Why you should never buy off ebay :p

Plus my tickets for the 1st seem to be at the back on the floor. Cracking good view then

On the seating plan diagram they have A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, C1, C3 Are these areas all standing?

http://www.sosmasterticket.com/shopexd.asp?id=4383# --> This tells me that the front A1, A2, and A3 standing area is for VIP, and £125 for 1 ticket.

GAYYYYY At earls court when i saw coldplay, standing tickets were so mcuh cheaper. This sucks

Already 100 lots of tickets on eBay and rising fast, was 36 when I looked a few mins ago, dear oh dear.

Have you all bought seating tickets then? It wont be the same :(

:veryangry2: Yes im very angry right now its so unfair that touts that.

I don't know why they've got all seated, because they're not going to be used.

its a comparable price, with the level of standing Coldplay have now reached. looking at MEN Arena prices, they're at the lower end of the medium-high popularity events.

Neil Diamond - £85

The Police - £85

Russell Watson - £55

Kylie - £49

Cliff Richard - £50

Elton John - £100

Tina turner - £100

if you want cheap tickets you could go see Boyzone or Westlife for £32.50

I'm fairly certain it's a cock-up.

Either Coldplay have decided that they're going to completely change every venue on this new tour by installing hundreds of floor seats at each venue.. or there's been a minor error on the parts of the ticket retailers.

I reckon there'll be an announcement made soon that will confirm that "floor seating" is not sitting on the floor, but 'general admission standing' like it normally is.

Don't Panic! :)

don't be so sure. the men arena is the same as for Take That and they were seated blocks on the floor

There either IS a standing area and sellers have advertised them as Seated or there never was a standing area. All I know is, I think, is that the O2 Arena has to be seated for some reason. Safety or something. I'm sure I heard it somewhere. Who knows lol

I have managed to secure several tickets for all three nights so far at the 02 (various prices and places). Unfortunately they are all singles. I definitely won't be needing all of them and intend to offer them at face value (plus any service/postage costs) to Coldplaying members interested.

Did anyone manage to get any floor seats??

or pigeon detectives at brixton a week today for £15 :)

Seating chart for the O2 Arena has been taken off the site.

Thing is, they couldn't change it all to seating now, not now that the vast majority of the tickets have been sold.

My sister saw Take That at O2 arena and even that was standing on the floor. The band have obviously requested this tour is all seated, not sure why though.

Maybe it's going to be some giant piece of performance art put to Coldplay music :p
