dan_bcfc
Q MAGAZINE JULY 2008 - THE BEST CHRIS MARTIN INTERVIEW LINES Bear In Mind Ive Typed This Up But Here Are Some Of The Best Quotes From The Masive 6 Pages: "Especially On This Record, it gets dark and then light, just like Michael Jackson" CM "Kylie is awesome, shes like Girls Aloud rolled into one" "The last thing I wanna do is talk about them," he says of the press, aggrieved. "But listen, were not living in Nazi Germany, y'know, so im not going to complain about anything. But I will say that you should ask politely before trying to take a picture of someones.....haircut" Q - Surely sometimes you would want to walk down the street with your wife and kids, and be slightly normal? CM - "well, i have my cereal. And my lawn mower. That very normal. Even though not many people have cereal on their law mower." Q - Before Chris leaves this evening he produces a slim credit0card sized case from his trowser pocket, stops at a photograph of two blond haired children tottering down a pathway, holding each others hand. CM - "Theres my kids," he says. Q - Its good to see these children do exist CM - "Actually, its just some random kids," he smiles and clicks the case shut "I was a naughty boy. its always fascinated me that the idea of finishing your life and then been analysed on it. And its a theme that runs through most religions. Thats why people blow up buildings. Becuase they think they are going to get lots of virgins. I always feel like saying, just join a band!" "Everythings real to me," he blinks. "Because it is real". "After the last album we felt so big and like things were out of our control that we said, weve gotta get right back into a little space, and that was the bakery. And now I think we would lke to be big again. We are ready to emerge."

Miha
X&Y wasn't such a bad album at all, full of anthems and nice melodies too. After all, it was a best seller in 05'. Viva La Vida...is more of an 'experimental' phase Coldplay have been through lately, a lot of critics can't really see the connection between Coldplay and experimental music..it'll take a lot of time to convince them. Either that or they know that for the first time in ages people will actually want to read their reviews to find out about the album and the critics are power-tripping and hating CP just to hate CP. Honestly though, if you end up as a critic you really do need to rethink your life lol
dan_bcfc
For many people in the UK who read NME, they will see that they are hating bands for the sake of it after backing them only a few months before a review and the greatest band of all time. Q for the past 3 or 4 months been giving virtually every album 3 stars just to cover themselves.

Mimixxx
I just got Q and it's fantastic! (I don't have a scanner, sorry) There's some great new pictures (including a weird one of Guy seemingly falling off a roof and the three of them looking shocked) and a great interview, although it's a bit too Chris-focused. It also mentions the IMAX and Shine A Light which is where 'Coldplayed' met Chris. He was with the Q reporter :D Hopefully someone can scan it for you guys because it's a great read :nice:

CRYSTAL
i don't know why? even i don't see any necessity in it,all these interviewers and columnists for magazines eventhough they're music oriented convert to topics like personal life and make embarassed not only him and everyone else too. they don't even give us a break from these:embarassed::embarassed::embarassed:
