Wow, what a fantastic article, really. Its a lot more than I was even hoping for, and there's so much to learn about the band and their methods, and of course Chris Martin himself. It even plays out like a short story at times, I feel. Really, a very, very good read. And the pictures are fantastic too! Guy doing a backflip off a rooftop? GENIUS! :lol: But yes, some awesome photos of them in there. I really like the one thats titled: "A band that doesn't shave together, stays together". How nice :P

 

I think I might go out and buy this. Its that good.

I feel sorry for those late to the party. It's the best article on the new album thus far. I'd like to buy it myself, but I don't know anything about its US availability.

a lot of critics can't really see the connection between Coldplay and experimental music..it'll take a lot of time to convince them.

 

I really can't see the connection either, convince me. The sound of VH, ASARY, VLV might be different from the old CP sound, but it's not experimental. If My bloody valentine recorded a salsa album, I wouldnt call it experimental music.

Oh yeah, good point. That was quite an interesting read too.

ahh, SUCH a good interview. i think chris's sense of humor is one of my favorites in the world. i can't even list all my favorite quotes because there are too many! i think i really liked the part with the fake picture of his kids.
