Until VLVODAAHF is released somehow we dont know for sure what this song is, I thought a poll would be interesting until we actally get to hear it.

I ended up voting for the last option lol! Cant be sure anymore!

Dude, I shall join you in solidarity.

My money's on it being the album version of Violet Hill:P

 - mine's on it being an anniversary version of Yellow.

Definitely it's Death and all His Friends.

There's proof I was wrong in the lyrics. I would have bet that I wasn't mistaken and it was Lovers in Japan.

But it's not.

Sorry about the big mistake...:embarassed:

 how could you be wrong Locust7?

You said it was definitely Lovers in Japan before.

He's drunk on cheese;)

He's drunk on cheese;)

:stunned: Does that work?

*runs out to get cheesestrings, and LOTS of them*

:laugh3:

it cant be death and all his friends because he doesnt say, "I don't want to follow/death and all his friends"

Well...

I know when I've made a mistake, and I know it's necessary to be recognised by myself. I caused the confusion.

I read the Q review yesterday and saw the lyrics, and I knew I was wrong. Wish I wasn´t, but I was. Nothing more to say about it but sorry again to the fandom.

You weren't the only one claiming to be sure it was Lovers in Japan, Locust!

If it was only you it would have been more likely you were mistaking, but that other dude who heared the album also said it was LiJ.

Anyway, in my opinion (and it's only an opinion, not a fact), that Grey's song is an edited part of the full song. The final male choir mentioned everywhere is not in..., and other bits also talked about, are not there as well

^ you said in a thread you heard some tracks if I remember well... so you heard both Death and Lovers and confused them?

anyway whatever song it 'll turn out to be, it's good...

:stunned: Does that work?

Dude there's no way anyone anywhere ever could get drunk on cheesestrings... if you read the ingredients its like:

.05% Cheese Substitute

Everything else% Recycled Coldplay X&Y-era clothes :D

it never says, I dont want to follow death and all his friends, so its obviously lovers in japan

It's very probable they edited it out for the Grey's Anatomy. TV edits the shit out of songs to fit them into the scene.

I think the big crescendo at the end is an instrumental version of the actual crescendo in the song so that we could hear the actors talking over the music. With the way they often use music in tv shows it could potentially have been all chopped up rearranged, shortened, repeated... the list goes on and on. Whatever makes the scene and the timing work in the show.

Why is this even being debated? Q magazine states that "Death and all His Friends" features the line "come over, just be patient, and don't worry". And now Debs, ABC, and even Locust all agree that the song is DAAHF.

And just about every description of DAAHF talks about a dreamy piano opening leading into loud chords and spangling guitar. That perfectly fits what we've heard.

Plus, it just sounds like a closer. :p

and speed of sound sounds like a shit version of clocks,

but it's still speed of sound.

don't bring locust into this, as far as I'm concerned,

he is full of bullshit.

Lets stop saying "it's definitely this" and "it's deifnitely that"

and just wait for the album.

Age Six Racer, I'd suggest not to insult me. Think I've been polite to you in other times.

If I've been wrong, it was not my intention. That doesn't give you any right to call me a liar, I guess.

I can't talk you in other terms if you follow talking to me like that.

Heh people can make a mistake, it's not a problem Locust;).

I think it's just an acoustic version of DAAHF, just like Lost? was. There's also lyrics in the original version but I really like this version already so I'm looking forward getting it finally!

I'm not insulting you, I'm stating fact.

You came on here and said "That's DEFINITELY Lovers in japan"

then today you're coming on saying "It's DEFINITELY death and all his friends"

can I also point out when you first came on here you said

"Violet hill has not one note of falsetto, chris sings low all the way through this one"

and coincidently couldn't remember any lyrics apart from the ones in the interview.

so look at it from that point of view?

would YOU believe somebody who had said all of that?

To Age Six Racer...

Yeah, you quote only what is of your interest to call me a liar...

I'm not gonna quote myself, I don't need it. Everybody in this forum can track. what i've been saying... Ok, so anybody can guess why I was so right, and can guess as well if I'm a liar.

Also, everybody can see what you said here. You said I'm full of bullshit (and that's an insult), and you called me a liar.

couldn't agree with you more.

and to everyone who is saying that it cant be death and all his friends because certain lyrics are missing or w/e... THIS ISN'T THE WHOLE SONG. the lyrics we saw in the cover art and the male choir are still in the song. this is just an edited version and that part got cut out. so for everyone who is saying NO ONE CAN SAY IT'S DEFINATELY THIS OR DEFINATELY THAT.. i WILL say that it's definately death and all his friends. the Q magazine article was the clinching piece of evidence. why else would they lie and put thos lyrics as being in death and all his friends? we have three VERY oficial sources sayiung it's death and all his friends (debs, ABC, Q) and now only one unofficial source (everybodylovesandrew) saying it's lovers in japan. hmm who to believe...?

and leave locust alone... it's just one mistake. he/shes? given has lots of good info in the past so i still believe them.
