yesterday at 12:42 pm. that was the second email with the correct date. first one was like an hour earlier with the wrong date.

maybe we can get a new thread if anyone has an extra ticket when it is closer to the MSG date

Has anyone won who isn't in the general NY area? I saw someone won who was in PA....I mean is this weird to anyone else? Why on earth would they say the contest was open to everyone and then only give people in the NY area tickets?? I am baffled. Don't get me wrong - I'm glad some people from here who are true fans get to go, but it seems as though Coldplay's management have fucked up yet another free show....grrrrr...maybe one day they will get it right.

i felt this way earlier. if all the email notifications came out, it would be nice to know how many coldplayers won and also where they are from (location-wise). i don't mind not receiving ticket (anymore lol) but it still kinda gets to me how many winners there are from within the NY area. not that that's a problem, in fact i'm happy for you all but then why make the contest open to all? surely they would've taken into account the thousands who live outside these places to enter etc etc, but that's what they stated and hm, just think it was a little misleading... though i could very well be wrong should there be others who've won from other places but who just so happen not to post their winnings. all good. just hope everyone who goes enjoys the show in the end : )

I didn't win MSG, and I'm sure that there are thousands of people who won who just want to go to a free concert and are not a HUGE fan like me. This is depressing.

i won, live in nyc (walking distance to the show) and am a huge fan. i have seen them 13 times live and am so excited. everyone i told said, i should be the one that gets the tickets.

 

my fear is that msg is way bigger than 7000 seats, so, the place is going to be filled up with a bunch of music biz people who are not fans and thats going to soften the excitement. i saw the buzz show in boston at avalon a few years back and that was like 1000 people and was amazing. then 3 nights later they did the show at the beacon in nyc and it was all industry heads and it was a weak show...partially due to the whole aol camerals all over the stage and whatnot.

 

regardless, i will be freaking out!

I guess the one thing to cling on is that no grand prize winner has come forward yet. I wouldn't doubt yourselves until around June 6th when claim confirmations are sent out.

I was there and yeah, it wasn't THE greatest, but it was still awesome for me--that's the smallest venue I'd ever, probably will ever see them at. And I was so excited to have actually WON the tickets, that that made up for the boring industry people and the cameras.

 

Yesterday I was so so so sad about not getting tickets....but today I broke down and downloaded the leaked album, that the happiness of that has helped me. Now, come June 23rd I'm going to be so depressed again! :confused:
