June 20, 200818 yr easily the WORST song on the album, chris and that boring piano ditty, are you kidding me? pfff man talk about a waste of a song you are a fool
June 20, 200818 yr Haha, I love the bit at the end of the Brixton gig "Oh ff, I stuffed it up again for the second time in two days" The crowd starts laughing their heads off :laugh3:
June 25, 200817 yr a lot of people claim it's the best song but I honestly don't see why, I don't love it that much
June 25, 200817 yr Third favourite, behind Viva La Vida and Lovers In Japan. Oh, and guys, the 2nd part of 42 kicks in at 1m 36sec. 1.36. IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!!!11!!!1
June 25, 200817 yr Also, the quiet, atmospheric part of Life in Technicolor--which is the very beginning of the album and acts as an intro and an ending because of The Escapist--is almost exactly 42 seconds long. The band must really like this song. :P
June 30, 200817 yr It's a really good song. i love it!' but (forgive me if that question asked before) why the name is 42? I know that Chris's fav. number is 42 but, anybody can answer me?
July 1, 200817 yr 42!!!!!!! ^ It might have to do with "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", a novel by Douglas Adams in which the #42 is supposed to yield the answer to life and such. Apologies if this question I have has already been answered: Anyone remember when Chris said that there was one song on their 4th album that "everyone must listen to before they die"? Does anyone know what song that was? I'm guessing 42 (cuz of it's awesomeness), but I don't know for sure....:inquisitive:
July 3, 200817 yr 42 ~ Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends ^ :laugh3: *drools in agreement* Seriously though, the whole album is VERY addicting! There has not been a single day so far when I didn't listen to it and its lively/deathly awesomeness!
July 5, 200817 yr the end part is a disapointment in my view but the intro and middle are awsome though!!
July 16, 200817 yr Ok I gave this song my first listens (I know I'm late...) and I must admit it's a great song. But the beginning really reminds me of Neil Young's Philadelphia but hm that's it great song indeed
