And smacking a dj is fine.

At least he went to court for that and was fined by the club even if the court suspiciously let him off. Anyhow, Cole and Rooney have a history.

Meanwhile - potentially game on for Arsenal.

Cole would go to court if the guy prosecuted him. Rooney has not done anything that warrants legal action, but he deserved a straight red of course.

It's all over.

And go to court he should. Chelsea should be ashamed of trying to cover the incident up by not calling in the ambulance for the wounded work experience kid.

Did you say Liverpool deserved no points the next time he played though. Failure to be punished is not the players fault. It is the crime they have committed that is the problem, and Gerrard has been guilty in the past too.

No because Gerrard's actions were dealt with immediately.

But my desire to see neither side win was also in large part down to the fact I fucking hate both of them. Still Man Utd lost so at the same time I'm delighted.

There's gotta be some money involved, c'mon, the average person, either the guy himself or his dad, Chelsea footballer shoots your son- CHA CHING

Surely they were paid off otherwise there are massive grounds for legal action, a work experience student gets shot? Massive legal case.

Yup - definitely sounds like another case of what's known in the trade as a "Michael Jackson"...............................

So how did Gerrard come to be prosecuted? Was it merely because the "victim" reported the incident to the police, or did the police become involved after they were called to the venue to deal with a disturbance?

I just think it's a bit of a sham that the police have failed to react immediately. They've questioned Ashley Cole....and now what?? Absolute fuck all.

Exactly. If Gerrard was prosecuted for hitting someone, surely the same should happen to Cole for shooting someone?:dozey:

Oh definatly, I bet it was a reasonable amount too, and perhaps the promise of employment after he qualified, which over getting shot with an airgun he would be a fool to turn down.

If you were in his position what would you do,throw away an oppitunity to reach your goals in life easier or blow the whistle and end up with nothing, it's got to be worth more than what The Sun would pay for the story, man shot man with airgun, it hurt, the end.
