I guess you will have to put up with a City-United Semi-final, assuming City get passed Reading. :laugh3: I guess the winner of the Bolton/Stoke game will get the 3rd entry into the Europa league this season instead of 6th place... ...Could mean Liverpool miss out on Europe completely next season unless they can close the 6 point gap between themselves and Spurs (whom I believe have a game in hand).

I keep thinking it was just a bad dream...so disgraceful. I would have loved to head down to Australia to see some matches.
March 14, 201115 yr Its still out of order the WC bid winners, even though after time when I choose to see the stadium of the Quatar bid I was pretty impressed with the Stadia they have planned. changing the football season for it is another thing entirley, it should not be help there.. unless they put a roof on all the stadia to keep the heat out. Russia I am sure some bribes would have been given for that .. whrere is wikileaks when we need them for something useful like this.
March 14, 201115 yr p.s - how's the legend that is Robbie Fowler aka God getting on in Perth? he is doing quite well here. its pretty much a holiday for him here lol. to be honest i don't follow A-league that much, it can hard to watch when you're used to the quality of the european game. but i have to disagree with your comment regards the sports potential in aus. rugby league, rugby union and australian rules football has a very firm stronghold down here and football can only do so much with a population of just over 20 million and an economy insignificant on the world stage. giving australia the world cup would've just pleased the 100 000 or so passionate football lovers that live here and spend their lives going to bed at 3am or getting up at 4-30am to watch their favourite teams play.

Ferguson faces a Football Association charge for criticising Martin Atkinson after last week's 2-1 loss to Chelsea. Liverpool boss Dalglish and ex-England boss Taylor suggested Ferguson should keep his most damning opinions private. But Ferguson said "people have short memories" and pointed to instances when the pair have criticised referees. After watching Chelsea take all three points at Stamford Bridge on 1 March, Ferguson said the match had required a "fair" official and that he had "feared the worst" as soon as he realised Atkinson would be in charge. Interviewed after the FA had charged Ferguson with improper conduct for those comments, Dalglish said he and his staff adhere to the Respect campaign that urges managers to support officials.
