Doesn't work. Rottenham, on the other hand...................

As many as it takes for him to change his ways.............................

Yeah, he'll change his ways if you keep posting.

If this is all there is to bitch about in world football, I'd say things are going quite well when you consider the drugs, infidelity, gambling, prostitution and who knows what else that clearly goes on.

If any of that stuff comes out, it will also be highlighted, as it should be.;)

This week, the big story is Rooney.

As it happens, he's no stranger to at least one of those "indiscretions" too. Remember the granny?

Yes I do, that's the main thing I remember him for when it comes to non-footballing things. That and he listens to a vacuum cleaner as he sleeps because he needs a constant sound to send him off. No idea if it's true, but that's what I think of when I think of Rooney.

As I said, this is small fry. Just because something is in the news, doesn't make it news worthy outside of the back pages in comparison to other things. Be grateful this is what people are 'having' to talk about, because nothing else is happening. It's not really very interesting at all. Let's move on.

Once he gets his just desserts, maybe we can.:smug:

If that's confirmed, I agree. Let's see if Fergie & co. try to worm their way out of it, first.:dozey:

They won't. Fergie has already taken behind the scenes actions against him for both the elbow and now this. Follow Henry Winter on Twitter. He's an intelligent sports writer, who isn't reactionary.

He just tweeted:

PFA lobbying for sin-bins & 5-yard exclusion zone round ref (only captains can enter)

Any views?

Fergie's lapdog? No thanks.

Jens Lehmann sues Tim Wiese over 'mental institution' jibe in German press

Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann is to sue Tim Wiese for £17,500 after the Werder Bremen stopper suggested Lehmann belonged in a mental home.

Lehmann blasted Wiese's performance during the Champions League clash with

Tottenham last September, blaming the keeper for one of Spurs' goals.

The Bremen keeper hit back in an interview with German paper Bild, he said: '(Lehmann should) check himself into a clinic - preferably a secure unit. He should go on the Muppet Show - that man belongs on the couch. Maybe he could get help there.'

Loggerheads: Lehmann (left) is suing compatriot Wiese (right) over remarks made in German national press

The pair have never seen eye-to-eye, Wiese claims Lehmann would snub his handshakes before matches in the Bundesliga and Lehmann backed Manuel Neuer and Rene Adler to take the German No.1 Jersey ahead of the Werder keeper at the World Cup last summer.

Neither player is required to be present at court which will be heard in Munich’s State Prosecution Court on Thursday when it will be established whether Wiese’s remarks were defamatory or not.

Schalke with the equalizer.

:edit:

Crouch is off! So much for that...

Typical. Looks like they've lost the plot again...................... :dozey:

And Spurs got lucky. It should've been worse.

With a whole half less a man to survive, it almost certainly will be.

Xabi Alonso - an absolute KING of the midfield. A wonderful player.

And what a result Schalke are heading for!

Real Madrid 3 - 0 Tottenham (:()

Inter Milan 1 - 1 Shalke

Gutted for Tottenham.

Chelsea 2 - 1 Manchester United

Barcelona 4-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

vamos barsa!

What the hell were Tottenham playing at with Aaron Lennon? Isn't Brazil with Ronaldo and the 98 World Cup Final not a lesson to look at for them?

What do you mean? Apparently he fell sick at the last minute.

I bet the whole team are now feeling extremely sick.

They really do seem to enjoy shooting themselves in the foot.:dozey:
