20 full 'listen-through's!!!

 

Yeah, I have an SAT on Saturday so I have been playing the music non-stop while studying for the last two days.

i've been listening to the songs separately

like 8-10 times I guess

Probably about... six or seven times. I'm actually debating right now whether I should listen to it again or go to sleep.

All the way through, maybe 4 or 5. Shuffling, hours at a time for most of the day.

I can't stop listening to Cemetaries of London, Lost, Lovers In Japan/Reign of Love, Death and All His Friends/The Escapist separately as well though.

the first 4 or 5 times, I just listened to it from beginning to end, like chris said.

but I must have listened to all the songs about 50 times each

 

the only songs I hardly's play now are violet hill and Viva la Vida, because they're old news! :P :lol:

i wish i knew, but because i didn't have my computer or my itunes yesterday, i was forced to burn the album to CD and play that on loop rather than the files, which would keep track of how many times i've listened to them. boo.

 

anyway, i'd guess in the last two days, all the way through, about 10-15 times. i'd never been a looper until VH and VLV, but now i'm an old pro. basically i had the CD in my stereo from 2PM to about 11PM yesterday, with only like two hours of time out for dinner. maybe that makes me sound like a nutter, but i'm eager to know this album well enough to really judge it without the novelty clouding what i really think :P

It was on repeat the whole yesterday..

I think 5 or 6 full listenes...but I listened to specific songs(42 and yes) 30000000000000 times allready:P:P

I listened to it all through once, then my guilt took over and I deleted it from my iPod!:\ I think I will be able to last until next week now!:)

i don't know but more than 5 times that's for sure... and some songs many more times: 42, CSC, Yes and Lost!

too many times to even remember or keep count :laugh3: it gets better each time i hear it. I'm addicted to Lovers In Japan and Lost! now. On the day of the 'release' I was addicted to 42. I've grown to like the full band version of Lost, that will be a single I'd put money on it! Strawberry Swing is great too, that's addictive too

Probably around 8 or 9 times so far. I'm trying to cut back to just once a day, lol. But this isn't like other music I listen to... I can still hear new details, or appreciate the transitions/choruses/beats in better ways.

 

It's obvious Eno is a genius. He and Coldplay were made to work together.

like 20 times all the way through.... but i have listened to 42 and strwberry swing many more times....

I'm listening to it as little as possible before the proper quality version hits on June 12th...its gonna be a GREAT day:D

Same here, I'm pretty amazed I've been able to wait this long actually, only 6 days to go though! :)

The whole album, like 5 or 6 times, although there are tracks like 42 or LIJ that I have listened more times... I'm trying to listen to the album as few times as possible, it's really hard I'm trying to listen other things instead, but then I rembember that I already have it on the ipod and I sart to listen to it again :rolleyes:.

 

I think I will start to listen to it more often when a full quality leak comes out, and will start to listen to it all the time when I have the CD in my hands although that will happen until 16th June.

 

In fact I haven't had an "all my attention on the album listen" yet, I mean, I have only hear it while I'm doing other things or traveling in the subway with all that noise in te back. I'm really looking forward to listen to it in with my headphones on and in the middle of the night with the lights turned off , paying all my attention to it, but that will be until the full quality leak, I'm also looking forward to hear it on my minicomponent at really loud volume on a sunday morning but I want to have the CD when I do that.

it broke all down on me on 04/06/08 so lucky

now i´m listening way too often but what else could i listen to? :D
