The radio 4 guy just freaked Chris out to the point that he walked away. :stunned:

I agree with the pre-recorded thing, and if it was done before they were due to go on Radio 2 maybe Chris pulled out?

 

I can see both sides, he shouldn't have walked out, but also the guy was an ass.

 

They're recording Jonathan Ross tonight, just hope it doesn't affect that :confused:

The interviewer was a bit of an ass, kept taking things literally, critising Coldplay and him, Chris went really quiet, then asked to be excused and walked out :confused:

 

We're still not sure what went on, was just really weird.

Whoooa, that's intense! :shocked2: I hope Chris is ok. Even though I haven't heard it yet, I'm already taking Chris' side. :P

I posted over on the "un-official" forum to ask Debs if he's ok. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but that was very awkward to listen to. I hope all the Andy Gill-esque criticism hasn't piled up and got to Chris.

I didn't record it, sorry. Not sure you'd want to hear it though.

I'm thinking the interviewer hasn't really done his research properly. All this teenage-angst stuff has heavily influenced his questioning. Will Champion WAS Coldplay for about 5 minutes! :o

that explains the no show on radio 2 this afternoon, i bet the radio 4 interview was recorded between radio 1 and their 'expected' appearance on steve wrights show..............as a result of which they pulled out........shame:(

That was bizarre. :confused: I don't really think the interviewer was really into this and Chris picked up on that.
