one thing you need to remeber is that its been edited...who knows what could have been said before and after...you see in things like reality TV shows, where producers edit the footage to make some people look bette then others..it happens all the time....i think the samething happened here...no proper bad things had been said yet chris walked out...i mean from what i've seen in past interviews, he would joke about whats happened and moved on...but it didnt happen...he got angry all of a sudden, which you dont see much off....so i think we are only hearing a bit of what actually has been said

 

I think that Will did what needed to be done...he stayed cool and profesional and assured everyone that chris was fine...i think if jonny had been there, then i think it would haven been a little more different...Guy i think would have done what will did, but defend abit more

If they did edit this they did NOT do a good job. This interview was pointless, IMO.

well did anyone else notice that the intro that ran into the interview said something about Chris being as famous for being married to Gwyneth as for his music...now to a guy who is there to promote his album I would say that wasn't a necessary thing to say...not sure if Chris would've actually heard this intro though...

Will and Guy are by miles the best in live interviews. They should always pair Chris up with one of them... lol

Nothing in that interview was necessary. What the hell have melons got to do with Coldplay anyway? I just want to ring up Radio 1 and have a go now. ARGH. Makes me ashamed to want to be a Journalist.

well i didn't hear it on Radio1 but i doubt they were defending him. i mean the first thing that everyone will think is spoilt pop star, up his own arse. Not really true. The questions were very heavy and all the types Chris doesn't like. The bit about the Brits was terrible. Interviewer bassically told them that they hadn't stayed away long enough! nice of him.

I'm sure the Steve Wright interview would have been much more fun for them. I guess they didn't fancy it.

i don't think it was THAT bad, but i can see how someone could twist it to become a headline about Chris being a spoiled rock star who walks out of interviews. from the get-go you could tell he wasn't into it, and the interviewer being so dry and boring just didn't mesh well with chris. maybe the best thing wasn't to walk away from the interview, but it's not like he got up and said "FUCK THIS I'm outta here!" he kinda politely stepped away lol. it really was just a waste of time since the questions were boring and provided no new info, and on top of that only served to make Chris feel bad. 'Cause you know he feels terrible about it, especially his melons joke. I mean he spent half the interview with Jo Whiley apologizing for his crack joke, when that was obviously no big deal.

 

but i totally love Will even more with each interview i hear!
