November 24, 200817 yr Total DissapointmentĀ Me and My wife flew from Panama to Miami for the concert. We had seen Coldplay in their X & Y concert in 2005 in West Palm Beach and they had been Beyond!!!. I don't know what happened to them this time around. Maybe success has gotten to their heads and they feel like they don't need to give it their all for the fans. They only did one encore and only one song in it. What is the deal? Maybe they were tired? I can only say we are deeply disappointed with their performance and hope other concert goers have better experiences. The concert didn't even pass the 1 hour and 20 minute mark. Fans deserve better.:(

Written language can lead to so many misunderstandings!! I'm sorry. And writing in another language than the native one leads to even more. I just wanted to say that I like seeing videos of the talking bits. It's always so teasing when you read a review, like here the Hooters stuff... And even if it's the tiniest thing you think for every concert "Wow, I would've loved to witness that". Coldplay craziness... :kiss:

November 25, 200817 yr Ā Ā Ā PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Be careful of using ticketsnow.com people. Lori's information said the tickets would be at will call. After a few phone calls to ticketsnow it was clear that they were not. We were instructed to meet some random guy at a bar in the mall across the street to get our tickets!!! WTF??????????? They also said it would be sometime between 6 and 8. HELLO??? The show starts at 7:30. We were all fucking pissed off at this point. Lori talked to the guy who was supposed to have the tickets and he said he would be there at 6. So we drove over there at 6 and Lori and Angie went in together to get the tickets. The guy was there as promised and the tickets were legit, but damn. What words can I use? DODGY. UNPROFESSIONAL. And this is a site that is a branch of ticketmaster. BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT THIS SITE EVERYONE.Ā Ā Very good point! They were good tickets but overpriced and downright scary!Ā Ā Lori and I popped up and ran with our sign and Union Jack waving and hanging over the balcony. They drove in so fast we weren't sure they even saw us up there...but probably. Hard to miss people running at full speed with a flag and a banner!! Ā Ā Ā Oh gosh! I remember running and looking back to see orange-shirted Mel running, holding her sign out and open to her side and looking very much like a crazed bullfighter in the wind!:laugh3: I'm sure I looked even sillier. We had to look freaking hilarious! HAHAHAHA! And I don't care! Most hard-core stalking ever!Ā Ā Ā We were too excited to see our seats so we took our pizzas and nachos into the venue. Ā Mich really knows how to put it away! :sneaky:Ā Ā Ā Ā The pizza! She ate it quickly! Ā Ā Ā Ā I can't remember if we flashed the Roadies banner or not - help me out Lori....but it was sitting folded in my lap when I realized I wanted to give it to them. Ā Ā Uhhh....maybe not? Oo, I'm having a tough time remembering as well.Ā Ā Ā Ā LOVE YOU MARTA!!! YOU ROCK!!:cool:Ā Ā :dance: for Marta!!!!!! :DĀ Ā Ā So we hold it up and I nearly have a heart attack as cool boy Jonny who has perfected his "I-see-that-banner-about-me-but-I'm-not-smiling-at-you" look, turns his whole body as he gets to us. He reads the banner and then scans all of us holding it, all the while giving us the most KILLER SMILE I have ever seen!! THUD! We watched the Ramp Love from just feet away and it felt like Jonny was rocking out a little extra hard just for us - at least that's what I choose to believe.Ā Ā Ā OH YEAH! His right arm was flying during Speed of Sound, doing this spastic movement up into the air when he strummed. He seems to do this when very hyper. He danced his ASS off the rest of the show. I remember saying "Mel! Would you look at him go! Squeeeeeeeee!" I have no doubt he was dancing and rocking out harder for us. No doubt at all.Ā Ā Ā Ā We had not stopped by the Oxfam table yet so we headed that way to say hi to Pete, who kindly informed us that we had almost gotten Glass of Water - say what??? He pulled a setlist out of his pocket and gave it to us and sure enough it was a maybe on the setlist! DAMN! We showed Pete our huge Jonnyfest banner - I think he was impressed and possibly a little scared!Ā Ā Ā I could be remembering incorrectly, but I think we showed him the banner, and then he gave us the setlist. So he wasn't too scared. Or he wouldn't be giving us prezzies.:DĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā And then we had to get in the car for the heinous drive home. I was so glad to see my house and at about 3:30am we all got home and fell into bed...well I did...I think others were too busy watching porn they'd shot!Ā Ā Ā Ā I went to bed! I was exhausted and high from the Jonny looks we got.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā However, I do want to say that I had the most fun with Mich, Lori, and Angie. They are all wonderful and going to the shows with them was ALMOST as good as the shows themselves!Ā Ā :DĀ Ā Ā Eeeee! Great review Mel! Oh, so many amazing memories. I can't thank you enough for hosting this perv convention.
