There is an L stop pretty close to the United Center (walking distance right next to the expressway)...going west. You probably could take a line coming from the south and then transfer west. I'd have to look at a map.

What time will they take the stage?

I hear that Santogold is opening at 7:30. What time do you think Coldplay will take the stage? Do you expect about a 90 minute show? Thanks!

I'm guessing coldplay will start near 9-9:30 and play a 90 min set

I have 2 Floor seats for the Tuesday night show and now I cannot go, so I am wondering if anyone is interested in a swap for Wednesday's show? My seats are in section SEC 6, row 14. Looking for comparable floor seats if possible, thanks!

Is there anyone else taking Public Transportation? If so, I am coming in on the Metra to Ogilvie Transportation Center and I then plan to take bus #20 to the United Center. According to the CTA website though - http://www.transitchicago.com/news/whatsnewA.wu?action=displaynewspostingdetail&articleid=119685 - bus #19 will be the express bus going back and forth from the United Center. Does anyone know if #20 will be running at the time the show gets out? Or if #19 hits Ogilvie as well?

By the way, I'd be willing to take those floor seats off your hands, but I do not have any tickets to swap. If you cannot sell though, I'd love to be on the floor :D

I'm in Chicago....bring it:sneaky:
Mel you need to go check the Ritz tomorrow because I bet they leave Vegas after the show and head to Chicago right away.

Do you want me to call you WHILE I'm hanging out with them or after??:sneaky:

anyone else doing oxfam for this show? I am, so if anyone sees a tall guy wearing an oxfam shirt with athletic shorts and oxfam written on their hand... That's me!

Oh the suspense.. Good luck !

beautiful Mel ! :nice:

Thankies! No sign of the boys yet or any of the roadies...not that I was stalking them or anything:laugh3:

This show is more than likely going to be great. They have had plenty of time off so I doubt theyre going to be tired (unless they are enjoying the city of Chicago a little TOO much). Since its the first of 2 shows in Chicago, I would assumed they'd be more pumped for the first. Glad I got tickets to this one.

omg Mel!! squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee XD

good luck!

Aww Mellie, don't worry about looking good for Chris, you look great :wacky:

Have fun!

Do you guys know what time the doors open, or what would be a good time to get there so that I can see the opener and everything?

I'm also interested in knowing this.

Ticketmaster lists the show starting at 7:30 and doors at most shows usually open 1 hour before.
