anyone feel like they love this song and its not really one of the fan favorites (i know its early but thats the hunch i'm getting)

yep it sound so epic live better than the disc.

I love it too, and it's incredible live. Even though it has a big drumbeat and handclaps etc, it's not TOO obvious and in your face, there's something subtle about it. Great song, and amazing melody as always from Chris. The melodies on Viva are ridiculously great.

it's a great song... it's just that I like some viva la vida songs more than Lost!... like strawberry swing, DAAHF, viva la vida or 42:P

Lost! is absolutely terrible. Should've used Lost? instead.

I think the live recordings of the song do it ALOT of justice. There is just something about the album version that I cant get past. It is just "ok" for me. When I heard it live, I thought WOW! Will is awesome! It sounds great live.

I think a lot of people like Lost? better because it sounds more like Coldplay and Lost! is just different and it def. doesn't sound like Coldplay at all except it's you know Chris singing. I like how it changes the feel to it though.. Lost? is kinda depressing (well not depressing but you know what I mean) and Lost! sounds more like encouraging

I'd have to say it's one of my top 5. the music is great, the lyrics are great..

Top song on the album! Perfect round, open melody in the chorus to compliment the tighter verse part. Plus "waiting til the shine wears off" is a nice little tidbit of lyric.

Yep, they definitely seem to like it more.

 

Kind of like 'A Whisper' also, Chris said it's one of his favorites, but not very popular amongst the fans.

I like "Lost!" more than "Lost?" because it doesn't sound like Coldplay.

Not that I don't like their old songs, it's just awesome to hear something different from them.

yes- defo!, I was hoping in that BBC gig that they would play Yes or Starwberry Swing, two of my faves and one of my least faves is Lost!, I kept shouting at the screen....YES!

I like Lost! on the album but I think its dimension is live, it's absolutely amazing and I'm loving it 1000 times more now :nice:

As for the band loving it... on one of the UK radio interviews I've listened to recently, I remember them being asked which songs they worked on most. I think it was Guy who answered "Lost!" and "Viva La Vida"

Lost! is the second best song on the Album behind VLV IMO.

As a song I really like Lost! and Lost? and every other variation of it under the sun. But I don't think it fits in the album too well, but whatever who am i to judge.
