I sincerely doubt he is, just tall and perfectly built. However he does come off as really really, arrogant and cocky.

yup, he is quite cocky. Well, at least he really seems to be!

There have been tons of news about his cockyness too :P

i wonder that myself. seeing him make that new world record made him seem almost inhuman, if he's THAT far ahead of fellow olympians :stunned:

i don't think he's doped, though. i don't really have that much evidence to back that up, but i don't think he is. i also get the feeling that he's really cocky etc, which automatically turns me off of really liking him. i'm just astonished that anyone can be THAT far ahead of fellow olympians. even when michael phelps is ahead of everyone else in the pool, its not by THAT much! sure he's ahead, but not so he's the only one in the camera's frame!

Yup i know what you mean. I'd get it if the distance was 5 km or something like that but it's only 100 & 200 meters!! That's nothing and STILL he runs way faster than anyone else. Or then all the others just suck so bad that it looks worse than it is haha

i don't see what the point is in going to the olympics, the greatest respected games of all time, if you're gonna cheat. :dozey:.

Indeed.. I just find that soo totally pointless

Yeah Spain did very well, but no one can beat Russians because they're the world champions. And if China won again, I'm not surprised.

yep, the Russians did very good... I just think I liked more the music of the Spanish presentation :p

(ps - do you think it was aneighbolic steroids or testhorsesterone :P)

Did you spend all day thinking those up?

The deal is that he's A. a strong sprinter and B. 6'9 He's much taller than the other sprinters and since he can as well as normal sized sprinters his gigantic legs propel him much farther with every stride. It's mostly a physical advantage.

I read today that he has been tested several times during the olympics & before too so i guess that should end the discussion about doping.

There were some info about him in the same article too and damn his height and the length of his legs really give him a great advantage

Can team G.B. hold off the Russians?

I doubt it, but 4th place overall is still good :)

good job for britain..really:)

Anyone of the Germans also like the song that ZDF is always playing at the end of their broadcast? I think it's from Schiller and a Chinese musician. I like it somehow. :D

Oh, and the theme at the very end is amazing! Sometimes I'm sad that ARD is showing the Olympic games every second day with their boring items haha.

gold on walking....+ bronze on kayak and on boxing + a final on heavyweight:P...so far a good day!

Stop speculating about the doppings!

What about the girl that wasn't really singing? or the not so great fireworks as they showed on tv? and the gymnastic team (in which China won 4 medals)... they're saying two of the girls must be around 14 and the min age to participate is 16!! the IOC is investigating this!

yes, and those chinese gymnasts were about 11, i think. ridiculous. i don't know how they possibly could have thought anyone would think they're 16.
