I just noticed they were talking about the bra on the third part of the Today Show and they mentioned it was someone's daughter who works there that threw it.

Coldplay Rocks Today Show Stage

 

 

Always one to brighten the day of others when he can, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made a young, injured fan’s day during an appearance on the Today Show on Friday (June 27).

 

According to press on hand, “The singer was rehearsing ahead of a live performance on the popular breakfast program in New York City, when he noticed a young boy named Lucas Bell in the front row with his arm in a cast.”

 

From there, “Martin stopped singing, reached down and grabbed Bell - the son of Today show executive producer Jim Bell - lifting him up onto the stage before grilling him about how he broke his arm.”

 

After the heartfelt moment, Chris and his fellow Coldplay rockers performed a string of hits for the thousands of fans who gathered outside the show’s Rockefeller Center studio - with hosts Meredith Vieira and Ann Curry kissing onstage while holding up some lingerie - like true rock star groupies!

Coldplay Invite Injured Child Onto Stage During Today Show Performance

 

Coldplay invited an injured child onto the stage ahead of their performance on the Today Show in New York this morning (June 27th).

 

The fan, who was in the front row of the audience outside the Rockefeller Centre, was picked out by frontman Chris Martin because he was wearing a sling.

 

He was then asked up onto the stage so that Martin could ask him all about his injury.

 

Coldplay performed a string of hits to a packed New York audience during their exclusive performance and at one point had to dodge a bra that was thrown onto stage by one over enthusiastic fan.

Then she changed her mind managed to get a ticket and booked a flight. This was all only like 13 hours ago :lol:

as far as i know, no band meetings. when i first got there at 6AM, some other people were holding some signed things, but i think that might have been from WAY earlier.

 

i wasn't right at the front, but lori, mel, and angie were!!! we met up afterwards, but we all got kicked out of rockefeller center the second the thing was over, so no group picture :sad:

 

and i was standing next to justin the ENTIRE TIMEEEE but didn't know. we found out 10 mins before we left who each other was. my god.

Oh my gosh, this concert was awesome to watch on TV being there must have been insane!
