Wow, the response to that question has been phenomenal but Daan, if there was a prize for most effort put into a reply, this would definitely get it!

But... Easy to Please goes pretty high doesn't it? (Yes coldplaying.com forum, I got that from you!)

Awwww :nice:

  • I can't give you the reasonings on why things changed, but I can give you an update from what I observed. The Oracle was run by Debs Wild. Debs is still with the band and helps out fans, for exam

Q. Dear Oracle,

How many questions do you receive a day?

The Oracle replies:

A few of you wanted to know the answer to this so I decided to let you know; it's well over a hundred every day.

That puts it in perspective, doesn't it, no wonder some people have never had a response, I'm amazed she gets time even to read them all

MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICH!!! Seen that??

(I agree with the Oracle! Hi by the way! bye1.gif

Daan, you may have too much time on your hands, but for us you used it well :D)

Aw, I get such a buzz when I see the board get a mention. Awesome!

Haha, awesome. The Oracle should hire Daan to work for him/her.

Q. Where were the boys during September 11, 2001?

The Oracle replies:

They were actually preparing for their trip to New York for an appearance at the CMJ Music Convention later in the week.

I was en route to Heathrow airport to board a flight to New York. Ken Nelson (Parachutes and Rush of Blood producer) had visited the World Trade Centre the night before. As it was Jonny's birthday he obviously didn't feel like celebrating but it's not a date any of us will forget.

Q. Dear Oracle is Roadie #42 the dancing roadie??????????

The Oracle replies:

No, given that Roadie #42 has talked about Wayne in his blogs and doesn't refer to himself in the third person; his identity remains a mystery...

Q. Dear Oracle

What are the boys' favourite sports? I notice that the Coldplay puppets were holding a cricket bat, does that mean they like cricket? I'm from Australia, so if you say anything about the ashes...

The Oracle replies:

Christina from the USA asked what the item the puppets were holding was, so you've answered her here by letting her know it was a miniature cricket bat. They are fans of cricket but that's not why they're holding a bat; the gig was at the Lancashire Cricket ground in Manchester. The band were thrilled the Ashes came home! Oops, sorry!

Will and Jonny do love football too...

Cricket?? Reminds me of that: Click :)

Q. Dear Mr/Ms Oracle

Where do all the butterflies during Lovers in Japan come from? Are they in a cage somewhere in the sky let free when the song starts or are they flying there all of the time knowing when to appear?

The Oracle replies:

Believe it or not, the technical term for the machines that blow the confetti butterflies into the crowd is "blowers"!

... and this is what they look like :)
