i love heels.

but i am a shorty, maybe that's why. and i once read that it's pretty healthy to vary the height of one's heels now and then. i usually wear flat shoes on mondays (for PE class) and on lazy days. :laugh3:

and heels/pumps in general can be quite comfortable too!

i guess i want ray bans that have a black top frame and that are transparent at the bottom.

haha Ray Bans.....I had never heard of this before until my best friend got some Ray Bans glasses some weeks ago....and some days ago there was this guy at the music shop who also had some R B glasses....man he looked good with those and almost forgot them at the shop because he pulled them off for some reaon heeh-

i need new glasses too, this summer. i need to use my current pair as a backup in england in case i need an emergency pair. the ones i have right now are black, square, and by nine west, and i don't want something that's very different from what i have right now, though i kind of want something made by coach :P

i can't exactly remember which one it was, either Elle or Vogue magazine that recently featured an article on how to walk in heels.

it was quite interesting and informative to be honest. there is an entire philosophy behind heel and walking in them! :)

I don't really wear heals when I go to uni or work, flat shoes just seem more comfortable. I wear them pretty much all the time when I go out though.

I think that could work too. The shoes could pep up the look. :) With some nice accessories most looks can look great in my opinion. :)

basically, the article was about the perfect walk and the fact that it does not come in a shoe box with expensive shoes.

 

a) the forward section of both feet should be aligned like a watch hand. (the left foot should be point at 11 o'clock wheras the right foot should show 1 o'clock.

 

b) relax your knees so that your walk does not look all knotted.

 

c) in order not to walk with your legs apart, imagine there's an orange between your thighs ( no dirty thoughts, please) that you're not allowed to drop.

 

d) straighten your torso. just because the lower part of the body moves doesn't mean the upper part has to move to.

 

e) don't look at your feet because it will make you look insecure. if you're scared you will trip, look 3 metres ahead of you.

While the other points seem okay to me, this one is just ... :angry: Just because others walk like ducks it doesn't mean it looks good or something.

Oh i know.. I just feel really insecure when i wear them. It's alright if i'm sitting but i just think i look totally ridiculous when i walk bah.
