I hope its true, but I've seen a few cases with these online stores where for some reason they have an early date listed that just keeps "getting pushed back" while every other store lists the expected date. But you never know...

Yeah he did. Plus HMV got the VLVODAAHF release date wrong too.

The December date is more likely...there'd be more publicity about it if it were to be released in a month.

I've just had a look at the UK website for HMV and there's no mention of anything in the "Coming Soon" section - and it goes all the way up to Jan 12th 2009

1 - The link provided doesn't work anymore

2 - HMV have a track-record at wrongly guessing release dates

 

I'm not believing anything until it gets confirmed by the band or EMI.

 

And if it comes out the 26th, I'm guessing it's going to be a digital release.

Let's just wait and see, I think everyone would be happy if it came out the 22nd, but Coldplay has said that it will come out, so we don't really have to worry about it.
