Fancy a Chavuccino??

Designer coffee launched for sugar-hungry Chavs

A cafe has launched a new take on the cappuccino - a coffee for Chavs called the Chavuccino, Yourmaidstone reports.

The drinks are flying off the shelves at Colin and Glynis Chamberlain's shop in Maidstone.

And in a move to keep the sugar-hungry baseball cap and Burberry lovers happy, they have sprinkled the coffee with hundreds and thousands, added a Flake and rounded it off with a scattering of dolly mixtures.

And the cup of Chav comes complete with a Burberry-style napkin and the optional shot of energy drink Red Bull.

Even the cafe's take away cups are wrapped in the Chav's favourite colours.

The owners of Lizzie's coffee shop in Maidstone town centre decided to create the drink after customers constantly asked for a cup of coffee and a tin of Red Bull - and launched it today to celebrate the shop's third anniversary.

Granddad-of-eight Colin, originally a Cockney from London's East End, said: "We thought we would make the Chavuccinos for a bit of a laugh - but they have turned out to be a huge hit.

"They even taste alright if you have a sweet-tooth."

He added: "We're not taking the mick out of chavs, we love them. Especially the kids, they are a real laugh. And they don't mind being called Chavs -- they're proud of it and this is the drink for them.

"We always see them hanging round the town centre with their gold chains and baseball caps, eating sweeties and drinking energy drinks.

"And when we decided to do a special drink for our shop's third anniversary we wanted to do something that would incorporate the town in a unique way."

Customer Cindy Jenkins, 20, said: "I love them. They better than the normal ones because they are sweeter.

"It's something a bit different and me and my pals think they're great."

Chavuccinos cost £1.50 to takeaway and £2 to sit in.

jonathan ross tried that on his show last night .....looked yummy

That's why I searched for it. I'm watching Wossy right now.;)

Apparently there's a Scottish version with a deep-fried Mars bar instead of a flake!!:P

I'm not sure the cups are big enough :P

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

I like a little cinnamon in place of chocolate on my cappucino

£1,50, that's cheap for a cup of coffee.

I would love to see how long these Chavs would last in a public school in the southern USA. :P

That sounds as if it could be potentially hilarious

As for the topic itself, I still can't get over the name. Chavaccino? Oh man. :P

Oh and i love this line:

"We always see them hanging round the town centre with their gold chains and baseball caps, eating sweeties and drinking energy drinks."

Its hilarious because it's true. And they're always raiding Mc Donalds for McFlurry's too :P
