-Prokofiev's "Lt. Kije Suite"

-Rachmaninoff's "Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor," featuring Ning An

If this doesn't move you in some way, you have no soul.

woah, dude, he's the resident professional musician at my school (Lee University) along with Gloria Chien. I've seen him perform dozens of times.

Just came from a piano concert by Jon Nakamatsu. Before the break he played Beethoven's sonata no. 14, and gave a priceless 'yeah, I know..." look when he started playing moonlight. :P

Dude, really? Hah, small world. If you ever happen to talk to him, you should tell him that the Stephen F. Austin audience really loved him. :laugh4:

I kid. That would be awkward.

I feel like I have to reiterate how incredible this is. It's been almost 4 months since I posted this, and this song still gives me shivers and makes me tear up from sheer beauty. I decided randomly to listen to this today, and I'm still like, "OH MY GOD" every time, without fail. :dead:

Had a chat with my Chinese housemate the other day about the differences between Peking and European opera. As a result I have been listening to my favourites again and fell in love with this performance.

One of the vocal professors at my college performed this in concert with his wife. It was funny and so cute! :D
