give me some time to give you a full detailed review

I'm down with a 7.5: This ain't a full, remastered beauty, but man, does it provide for hours and hours of enjoyment.

9.999 only because Postcards From Far Away is too damn short:bigcry:

7.0/10

The "remixes" were unnecessary, didn't do anything to enhance either song. Jay-Z's bit sounds totally tacked on and separate from the rest of the song. And they would have been better off leaving "NMFWTTG" as an acoustic track. It would have been a neat little track, even if sounded a separate. The actual meat of the EP, up to "Prospekt's March" sound terrific, though!

7, they could have done without Lost+ on there

9,5 I'd give it a 10 but I don't like Lost+

7.5

But I am sure I can give it a higher grade after I listen to them more times.

You know, that's the way Coldplay songs work.

The EP has so much potential, but falls short due to a few things:

- Lost+. Not only is Jay-Z terrible (rapping about Bobby Brown on a Coldplay song... seriously?), but it was already represented just a couple weeks ago on the Lost EP. Doesn't need to be there.

- Lovers in Japan. The difference is totally minuscule.

- Kinda short, even for an EP.

- The inclusion of Lost+ and LIJ over other tracks like A Spell A Rebel Yell.

- I wish Postcards were developed into a full song, but that's just a matter of opinion.

The "meat" of the EP is great stuff, though. LIT2, PM, all good stuff. It's just that the EP could have been so much more by keeping a couple tracks off of it and replacing them with tracks that fit the vibe of the EP better.

I think it's a good record, but unfortunately the EP is very very short (worth 9,99€?).

- Life in Technicolor ii: Best song of the EP I'd say! Absolutely love it.

- Postcards From Far Away: Good, but too short

- Glass Of Water: Not my favourite first, but it definitely grew on me

- Rainy Day: Somehow it reminds me of the music which is used in the "Sim City 4" computer game. Don't like it that much, but perhaps it needs more time. (Oh and is it only me or is the quality of this song not as good as the other ones? Don't get me wrong, I got my original EP last Friday)

- Prospekt's March/Poppyfields: Very good! Bring back the Parachutes time!!!

- Lost+: Completely unnecessary

- Lovers In Japan (Osaka Sun Mix): Not very different to the original one, but I prefer this version

- Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground: Don't know the background of this song, but for me it sounds pretty much like "'Til Kingdome Come"

uh why does everybody keep complaining that the EP is 'too short'? do you not understand what an EP is?? :\ It's almost an LP as it is, with 8 tracks...

I give it 8.5/10. Lost+ and LiJ are unnecessary but do contribute to the EP's listening experience as a whole.

8....Lost+ is seriously terrible and just ruins the album and I find Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground not very good, and to be honest, I'm not finding LiT 2 amazing even though i loved the original one, i think the lyrics are quite weak and were just thrown in with no real thought with loads of the lyrics already in other Coldplay songs, but it isn't bad!, I Love Rainy Day, Prospekt's March and Glass of Water

Anyone suggesting that half an hour is short for an EP is a moron.

Just thought I'd drop that in there.

Yeah, I think people really need this realize that is is an EP and not an album.

I also don't understand those complaining about the fact that Lovers in Japan (Osaka mix) is not suitable in this EP. C'mon .. it is one of the best track of the LP .... even though EP version is not that different from LP version it is still pretty good!

Arcade Fire did the same with "No cars go" but inversely... EP --> LP

Anyone suggesting that half an hour is short for an EP is a moron.

Just thought I'd drop that in there.

Sure, it's an EP and therefore it's not very long, but why selling this record for 9,99€? I can get a whole album for the same price with more songs. That's what I meant!

Yes! That's exactly what I thought. Sounds like the music you'd get on a Sims game! :laugh3:

That being said I really love the song.

8.1

Because the new material from lost+ and LIJ is pretty cool im not gonna lie. I dont really like Rainy Day much.

Glass of Water, Now My Feet Wont Touch the Ground, LIT2, and Prospekts march are all 10's in my book though.
