I do hope this Swine Flu panic calms down, if there's some sort of public gathering ban because people are panicking over a glorified cold I won't be impressed

Hopefully the panic has died down, besides at the current rate the entire country would have had the flu by september :P

Fine, I'm fine with having a bit of a cold before Sept, plus I work in a hospital so would be made to have an extortionate amount of time off :P

I work in a kitchen, so if you show any signs you are sent home

do I want to know how you found that picture? :P :laugh3:

^What?!? How 'bout NONE of us gets sick, and are in fine form to stand for hrs and hrs the days of the shows!:smug:

I'm sure whatever craziness is going on regarding swine flu panic will definitely have died down in 2months time.(or won't get to the point where people won't be let out of the house). When it all first started in May, we were worried for Pris coming to NYC from Mexico...but she had no problems. And now people are like "what swine flu, huh?"

And if we must, I'm sure we can find a design for some yellow face masks:P--'cause nothing is stopping the show, damn it!!!:whip:

I mean, at least if we (without prior medical conditions that is!) all got infected with H1N1 and recover by September, we will have the antibodies against it and won't fall ill even if exposed to the virus during the concert :P

H1N1 is close becoming the default flu strain this season in my country :uhoh:

Which is a good thing.

More than half the cases of flu here this season test positive for H1N1.

Let's all just hope Wembley will go smoothly :D

So hands up who has the tee-shirt?

Original shirts for me and my daughter :)

"amen" to the bolded text! & i hope that by 19 Sep i would've recovered from jet lag & adjusted fully to London time. :P

(i'd hate to give the guys the wrong message by falling asleep during their songs!)

but i do have someone in the family who is all paranoid about me just going to uni cos i'll "definitely come in contact with ppl who have the H1N1 virus"...brilliant. :dozey:

said person is convinced it'll all flare up again & maybe worse in Sep, esp. once winter comes round in UK.

A Wembley Flu Prayer

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The patience to endure the queues and weather at Wembley,

The strength to survive a swine flu infection,

And the wisdom to not live in fear at home all day

for mortal fear of a glorified flu

And also,

Help me to be careful of the overly paranoid

As they will probably want to quarantine me

For going to a Coldplay concert I've been waiting for for months.

:P:P:P

When exactly are you flying up to London?

who, me? i'm planning on taking the night flight on 2 Sep so that i'll get into London on 3 Sep morning. original plan was for 11 Sep. :dozey:

Yes you :P

Why the change in plans? But at least you definitely won't suffer from jet lag

+ the significance of the date (to a very minor extent). everyone was like "oh, you flying on THAT date?" when i mentioned 11 Sep. :P
