I couldn't find that info on ticketmaster.

Haha, but not for Wembley, I will try dutch gigs. Would I see you there?

Oh, its a shame!( but hope to see you at Wembley next year!

^Yaaaay !!!

I don't know for the tickets... maybe we'll have to take them there, that would be terrible for those who're planning to wait (including me :\)

Okay Min, I don't know yet what shirt I'm gonna wear ! I have to think about it, it's a very serious problem :D

Hey Perrine!

Don't worry about the tickets, I know people who are coming to both Wembley nights from Latin America; they have the tickets at will call, but they haven't even booked the flight, hotel, nor a car rental or any form of transportation! :stunned:

They still say to me that is a 80% chance that they get there, but from my standpoint that sounds like a 5% to me :bigcry:

I received that email from ticketmaster yesterday that said

Dispatch Update

Your tickets will be dispatched closer to the date of the event.

[...]

There must be a lot of people asking questions about it now.

They also said they will arrive at least 5 days prior to the event which is fine for me (and Perrine :D)!

I ordered my second yellow shirt yesterday - I don't want to stink on the 19th! :laugh3:

@dfit00 Did you tell these people that the longer they wait for booking hotels the more expensive it becomes???

And for transportation: there are cheap buses from the airports to the city centre and for everything else TfL is perfect!

I recommend Oyster cards to everybody btw.

You can put money on it and if there's money left on it you can get it paid back before you leave.

Have a nice day everybody!

P.

I had royal mail deliver my U2 tickets from ticketmaster.

Royal Mail rules when you know the postman and your next door neighbour is the guy who works in the local sorting office :)

Where is that from?

I couldn't find that info on ticketmaster.

I'm guessing cafc4eva got her tickets from Seetickets (or Gin&tonic).

Hey ! :nice:

I'm afraid I don't know your name :uhoh:

As Anna said, they better book it now...

Grrr they better don't send it that mail again... I'm really worried :\

Yes 5 days would be fine for us ! Just hope they won't change that !

i got that email too (this is the 2nd time i'm getting it already). but the thing is i long ago arranged for my ticket to be Box Office Collection. i suppose they are mass mailing it out to everyone who bought a ticket? :\

i did call TicketMaster to look at the possibility of mailing it out to me instead, but that didn't seem feasible ultimately cos of my travel plans. the last thing i'd need now is for my ticket to be mailed to me in Malaysia when i'm already in UK!

but i don't think that's possible, since i'd have had to top up the difference had i authorised the change in arrangement...& i haven't seen any additional charges by TicketMaster in my credit card bill so far.

I haven't arranged my tickets to be collected at the box office yet, just hoping they will ship them in time for my departure which will be one week before the Wembley gigs. Optimistic?

The worst case scenario is to come up to Wembely without the ticket which will be hold at a post office and not to be able to enter the stadium.

Should I call up Ticketmaster?

Anyone heard anything about 'Ticketline.co.uk'?

I was about to change the delivery option and have it mailed to someone in the UK but if they start mailing them out right now, chances are, that continent tickets will arrive here before I leave for Dublin :)

Yes, I think it probably best to call them beans. Better safe than sorry!

I can't even remember who I booked through, better double-check that myself!!

http://www.ticketline.co.uk/ticket-despatch-tickets

ticketline says "Coldplay @ Lancashire Cricket Club despatched by special delivery 6th & 7th August" This gig is one week prior to the first Wembley one. So there migth be a chance they will despatch ours by the end of next week.

Ticketline are a good company, I've used them in the past.

Just an FYI - I am coming from the US for the Sept. 19 show. I leave on a red eye Sept. 17. I called ticketmaster.uk earlier this week after receiving the second email. He said I should get them seven days before the show and if I dont have them five days before I leave to call back and they will leave them at will call. I asked if they can do that if the tickets have already been sent and en route and he said they can print duplicates at the box office. I re-confirmed this with him as everything else I have read was contrary to this and he said yes, they can reprint duplicates.

That would be a relief. At least you know that you can still get your ticket @ the stadium.

Although picking up @ the box office is also a bit of a hassle as we'll have to leave the queue, and then try to find our way back. And if the arena staff starts scanning barcodes and giving out wristbands for the standing area before we get our tickets, I'm afraid we might get relegated to the end of the queue :\

That is a worry :\. The reason I changed my second ticket from delivery to box office pick up was because I will already have a ticket, so in theory me leaving to pick it up will just be like me going to the toilet or something.

correct. well appart from the "her" part haha

I wouldn't worry too much. From the sounds of things, you're planning to be in the queue before the birds get up, so are likely to be there way before the box office opens. :P

I'd ring them to find out what time they're planning to open for collections, then you can get over there as soon as they do so, and before they even think of sorting out wristbands etc. :)
