On the Coldplaying main apge theres a snippet from a blog that says

 

"Today, Radiohead (with USC marchind band), Coldplay (with Jay-Z) and U2 are rehearsing. U2 will open the show tomorrow with their new single. Unfortunately, all of these bands have explicity requested that no audience, media and Academy staff members are at their rehearsals, so I can give you updates about that. But Radio will be super cool no matter what."

The song is too mellow...they need to perform a song thats gonna blow everyone away!

Was watching the local news, they did a bit about the Grammy award rehearsals and showed a tiny tiny snippet of the guys. Chris was wearing that jacket with the neon green band. Aside from that Katy Perry was really annoying in describing her plans.

Oh No! I agree with you. I hope this is not true. I was hoping they would do VLV (since the song is nominated for song of the year) or just Lost by themselves. Even Lit II or LIJ would be better choices.

I agree. I actually do like Lost! very much and love watching them perform it live (as in the music video) but I don't see it as a song that will have people putting it in their highlight reviews Monday morning. They really needed to pick something that says,"Hey we're Coldplay, we really are the biggest band in the world and this is why." I don't see that happening with this song.:\

 

I guess we just have to hope that they perform the heck out of it to make up for the lack of power and really engage the audience to get people to remember them at the end of the show.

I really hope that if they do play Lost with Jay-Z they do some kind of mix with another song...it just seems weird that they aren't playing a song they're nominated for aka Viva La Vida or Violet Hill.

The little snippet they have of the guys is from the Neil Diamond performance they gave.

Aw man, I'm not really crazy about the Jay-Z version. I hope that's not the only song they'll perform otherwise I'm going to be a little disappointed :uneasy:...still happy that Coldplay will play but just mediocre about the Jay-Z collaboration .

 

I would agree that they should perform 'Glass of Water'. It's up there in epic-ness...maybe not so much as 'Viva la Vida' or 'Violet Hill' but it's pretty amazing itself.

I think everyone wanted something more... exciting than Lost+... meh, it'll do...
