January is supposed to be the most depressing month, I remember my psychology textbook had stats on how much more often the average person cries during this month compared to the rest of the year. Christmas is a month past, spring is still a month away, and there's no major holiday or much of anything happening. It's far enough into the winter so that the winter blues have really truly set in by that point. It's supposed to be the shortest month, but it always feels like the longest...
