Stage Invasions!

Featured Replies

haha, i think chris and guy were talking about landing in or leaving the stage from a hot air balloon in the live 2003 tour diary

and the stage invasion idea...while seemingly cool and i would TOTALLY take advantage of the opportunity to grope the guys and dance on stage....just a terrible idea from planning and logistics point of view. its insanely dangerous, for both the fans and the guys themselves. they'd get smothered and attacked, and it would be easy for some crazy to do something to them, and then think of hundreds and thousands of people all scrambling to get on the same 40-foot length of stage...people would get beat up and knocked off and get into fights about who was closer to one of the guys. eek. i think if management ever allows this, they're morons

^ Personally, I was thinking more along the lines of "Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground".

We could all coordinate a Coldplaying.Com stage invasion, in which each member strategically is assigned to rushing an assigned point upon the same cue. This would have to include a few members para-sailing from above in order to leave the band no route of escape even through a balloon. Oh, what fun that would be (unless it suffocated them). :D

We will need some walkie talikies for the coordination... and we will need some slingshot or catapult to evoid the scape by ballon, I have a good shot :sneaky:

"And I've always liked to leave the stage in a hot air balloon... but it's not possible."

At the Prince concerts I went to he invited loads of people up onto the stage...like at least an entire row. it was pretty insane to see that, it was just for like a song or two, everyone was dancing, and I think most everyone up there understood that they wouldnt be staying up there if they harrassed him or the band. But Im not sure Coldplay's music lends itself in the same way to audience stage invasions and booty shakin.

I hope Chris realises that this has stuck a giant "GROPE ME" sign on his back AND front.

He so wants to be  Maybe if I win a comp for extra tickets... I shall. :wink3:
