June 13, 201016 yr I love the way it was filmed and everything. I want to see the other half so bad! MTV World Stage is à good live but it lacks a lot of songs :( mobilize you : http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70659
June 24, 201016 yr I say we all go to done and dusted and demand they hand over the HD video files from the concert to us. I'll edit it if you wish :) haha. Here's my resume so to speak http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69652
June 28, 201015 yr DVD is NOT TO BE RELEASED! From the Oracle: "Awww that's very sweet of fans to care so much about a DVD but there are no plans to release one and in this case a petition can't change that decision... whether 714 signatures on it or 71400! That's very touching to see though and I'm sure it's not the only one in existence. " As Coldplay fans, we've made it PERFECTLY CLEAR that we wanted a "Viva La Vida" tour DVD. The Oracle heard. The moderator heard. The Webmaster heard. I'm sure Chris Martin and the fellas even heard about this. To come up with some kind of explanation or reason for this is nearly impossible without an explanation from the source - and by that, I mean COLDPLAY. Is this DVD a matter of life and death? Of course not. But there was hope. There was a demand. And not to make any accusations, it seems as though no one in control really cares about the demands from the fans. Now I'm sure we as fans would better understand the reason behind all this if we were given some sort of explanation or reason. Is Chris and the team too self-critical on their performance in front of the camera? Do they feel the live DVD somehow does not capture the true feel of the concert? Is it because they had audio problems in Barcelona? Is it because it rained at Wembley? The term "throw us a bone" is needed here. No, the Coldplay team are not "obligated" to give us any explanation. They are not "obligated" to release a live DVD after every tour. But when the fans put together petitions, and make noise on the issue, don't just say "aww that's touching" (Mr. Oracle), it makes us feel a bit unworthy. I can continue my life without a DVD. I'll continue watching my U2 360° Tour on blue-ray and sharing it with familly and friends. I was there at the Rose Bowl. The DVD came out before the tour even finished. I was a happy fan. I just wish I can one day share that special moment of seeing Coldplay live with someone in the comfort of my home on DVD.
