They have taken way too long.

Vancouver was also one of the cities that was supposedly recorded and placed into a DVD.

Mybe they make like a mix of diferent places.. I think that could be great!

I really hope some of the wembley shows will go on!

I want a lot of behind the scenes stuff, like the journal thing they had in Live 2003, because I'm a stalker like that.

OMG. i really hope this is going to happen.

it was my first concert this tour and it was such an amazing experience. it would be so awesome if coldplay could put this out.

it'd be such a waste of all this great footage if they didn't use it.

The oracle just smashed in our last hope of a live DVD:

June 3, 2010 - submitted by Elliott, United Kingdom

Q. Hi Oracle,

Is the video description true?

Thanks,

Elliott

The Oracle replies:

This video is NOT from a potential DVD; it's from a Brazilian TV special that took place before the Latin America tour.

The live footage is from Barcelona (filmed by Hamish Hamilton). There was also an interview.

back

but it could be??? no?

Look, the Doneanddusted guys responded my question about the Dvd....

Juan,

We filmed Coldplay in Barcelona, Vancouver and London last year. Coldplay have not decided what they will do with the footage yet.

I hope on e of the shows will totaly be braodcasted on HDNet or something (just like How we saw the world in toronto) so that we still are able to see it.

Why don't they mix them???? It's unfair that I had to have the camera in front of my face covering the piano, and then I don't get a DVD!

That's a kind of a crime.

But I'm actually glad that the video somebody asked the Oracle about isn't going to be the DVD - in my opinion, the editing was really, really bad.

I feel like if there was going to be a viva tour dvd we would have heard about it by now :disappointed:

Sadly. I feel the same way. :( If there is a DVD, I was hoping it would be filmed like MTV World Stage.

true

That's the only thing I really like about U2, every tour gives away a DVD (sometimes even 2). Coldplay (I really think even every band) should do this too

I agree. It would be cool if they atleast put it on tv or something. Or even if they put the other part of the MTV World Stage footage on tv. That would be cool.

i agree too..

i HATE there was no dvd official of x and y tour ( apart from the live 2006) and im pissed off that theres not gonna be a viva tour dvd

aww come on yall keep the faith for the DVD guys and gals :)

Yes, thank you. The MTV World Stage was awesome
