Okay, here's the summary. The cube consisted of 4 screens with the pic of their website on it. You couldn't see the guys but only their ....

Performance was about 40 mins long. You could see them wearing antlers and guy DANCED! Afterwards we had to leave the area as the guys

 

Wanted to leave their cube. They didn't come to the bar area but stayed at the stage area which was behind a curtain.

 

The first we saw at the bar was Martin. He told liz that guy already left but we wouldn't believe him. So we waited. Then met jonas who was ABSOLUTELY nice! Then met mags and morten and had pics taken with them. Now at the stations waiting for our train home

 

 

So Guy was avoiding fans with his new band pretty much like he avoids fans with his old band. :P

So cool!

I'm really happy that they got to meet them! :D Even if Guy just ran away from them :dozey:

The met Morten too :surprised:

 

They made a great job representing the Apparatchicks! :D

Just bought the album (squee!) and am almost through it... It's great! A really good mix of songs and sounds :D

Yes, but I'm logged into the kids' account on my computer right now... For some reason sound doesn't work on any of the user accounts except my dad's, I dunno why.

Apparatjik perform in Berlin and release album

 

 

Apparatjik played their first concert at the WMF Club in Berlin last night, as part of the music and art festival "Club Transmediale".

 

The concert lasted around 40 minutes, with the band members playing inside a specially constructed cube.

 

"This concert is as much an art performance, as a concert", Jonas Bjerre told NRK's Lydverket, which will have a TV-report about the concert next Wednesday.

 

The Berlin concert is the only Apparatjik performance that has been planned.

 

"We would like to continue our collaboration, but if that will result in more music or something completely different, who knows", the band says.

 

Magne was not the only a-ha member in Berlin last night, as Morten had also come to witness the event.

 

"[This was] refreshing, and even though Magne doesn't really have time to do this right before our own tour starts, I think this is the best preparation he could have done", Morten tells Lydverket.

 

The Apparatjik album was also released yesterday. It's called We Are Here and can now be purchased as an MP3 album or pre-ordered as a CD/DVD set here.
