Darlene_Ihnfsa
First of, may be this thread should be on technology sub-forum. (If so, any mod can move it there) I just got that message from Last.fm The last decision of Last.FM is "listening to Last.fm Radio will soon require a subscription of €3.00 per month" except United States, United Kingdom and Germany and continue with "There will be a 30 track free trial, and we hope this will convince people to subscribe and keep listening to the radio." Free Is Free, Dont Forget That Last.FM. Give Me Back Our Freedom... Official Announce About This Subject: http://blog.last.fm/2009/03/24/lastfm-radio-announcement Three Striking Methods: 1 - Stop Scrobbling, Close Applications. 2 - Rename a mini music as Strike Scrobbling - Free Is Free. (ex: http://www.last.fm/music/Strike+Scrobbling/_/Free+Is+Free) 3 - Change your profile picture with this group picture. P.S: Spotify is not available for all countries. For now, it is not an alternative to Last.Fm.
Lore
I'm really upset, if it won't be free, make it the same for everyone! and it's true, spotify doesn't work here :(
Darlene_Ihnfsa
I hope those news won't be true, or that they will reconsider it. Is so sad, it was a good thing, it was free, i don't know why they want to change now, and less why keep it free for 3 countries only  I got to use Spotify since a month ago or so thanks to an invitation, but i can't send invitations :bigcry:
miwa
Blah, as long as scrobbling is free then I'm happy.

Violet
So what you're saying is that all but three countries will have to end up paying for it? ...That's not fair at all. :(

Cobalt
Probably another movement caused by music labels complaining. Guh.
zeoir
Blah, as long as scrobbling is free then I'm happy. Oooh, they didn't say anything about free scrobbling when i first heard the news about this earlier. I never listen to the radio on last.fm anyway so this doesn't really bother me at all after all.. I was FURIOUS when i heard the news and thought that i wouldn't even be allowed to scrobble for free though..
polkahard
http://www.grooveshark.com Way better than Last.fm anyway...
Black Rose
Probably another movement caused by music labels complaining. Guh. It's CBS the owners having a downturn of advertisers revenue and subscription money (I know some people who used to have a subscription until it got taken over), mixed with companies like the PRS wanting more money to spend on cakes

Mattolinko
I don't care if i have to pay 2.50 euros a month which is equal to buy 2 ice creams in my country, i just feel bad knowing that G3 countries is treated different. I think i will be buying a subscription, though. Only for a month at first to see how many people that'll be leaving. Last.fm is NOTHING without listeners. Darlene_Ihnfsa
:o my dad has logged in his last fm now and the radio option tells him that: you have 30 free tracks to listen, or you can choose to subscribe for just 3€ per month. :censored:
