If you’re an eligible young actor worth £42million, you might well worry about gold diggers.

But Daniel Radcliffe has little to fear on that front. For the young lady he has been seen with of late, is used to a little luxury herself.

 

Olive Uniacke, 19, who was pictured with the Harry Potter actor on his birthday trip to Russia and in London with him, is the stepdaughter of David Heyman, the multi-millionaire producer of the Harry Potter films.

And hers is more than a brush with celebrity. Her father, Robie Uniacke, is a renowned figure in London society, who has most recently been dating actress Rosamund Pike.

 

Her mother, Rose, is a renowned interior designer. A friend explained: ‘Olive and Dan have known each other a long time, ever since the Harry Potter films started.

‘They were close a few years ago but the relationship fizzled out then.

The friend added: ‘Olive is renowned for holding some of the best house parties, really great bashes. She can be quite wild. She loves to drink champagne, particularly Moet, and she chain-smokes Camel cigarettes. She also loves to go nightclubbing.’

Recently, Miss Uniacke has been working alongside Radcliffe, 21, on the final Potter film as a set PA. Filming on Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows finished recently.

 

A colleague said: ‘Olive is a lovely young lady – and she and Dan have been close for a long time. She was always in and out of his dressing room during filming and she has always been really protective over him.’

 

Her stepfather, 49, produced all the films. Last year he was reported to have bought a £11million home in Pimlico, complete with a ballroom.

Meanwhile, her father, 49, is a city speculator and reformed drug addict. Rose was his second wife. His first wife was Emma Howard, the daughter of the late Earl of Carlisle.

 

He then dated Sophia Hesketh, the daughter of Lord Hesketh, who was 24 years his junior, and most recently, is said to have been dating Oxford-educated Miss Pike, who appeared in the James Bond film Die Another Day and is 19 years his junior.

 

Last year, he also appeared in society magazine Tatler’s Little Black Book, described as ‘a mysterious loner and rare book collector who haunts South Kensington’.

Miss Uniacke, who lives in a £1.2million house in Hammersmith, West London, was also spotted watching cricket with Radcliffe at the Oval recently.

 

She is currently understood to be holidaying on the Caribbean island of Mustique.
