Have you ever shoplifted?

Featured Replies

never (as far as i remember).

when i was like 3 i tried took from the shop a box of chewing gums saying my godfather gave it to me.... my mom said me i should not do that, and my godfather payed for them in the end :shame: (i didn't knew what i was doing...)

anyways when the doors ring it gives me the creep... and it sounded at least 2 times that i remember....

once i bought a new notebook and i was "busy" trying to find the middle page... so distracted i crossed the cashier line (just where the doors ring), i noticied the mistake and payed it. (i was like 10 back then)

second time; i had bought a new t-shirt but didn't knew it had some stuff i should remove so time later when i got into the shop it sounded  that was kinda weird since that t-shirt was mine since months ago  but i remember the guards come next to me to check what was it. (and that was like this last december).

anyways as i was a good kiddie :kid: some cashiers used to give me some candies for how good i behaved :shy:

I used to get candies for good behaviour too :D

not really.

well, i took, like..., little things.

and that story about the pen that was on some other girl's backpack reminded me of that one pin i once had on my bag. it fell off and i noticed that another girl had the exact same pin on her backpack. so i figured she stole it from me.

i looked at it and - god obviously wanted it that way - while she was pushing around other kids and it came off and she didn't notice. so i took it...

just to realise it wasn't even mine.

god hates me now.

Who hasn't?

Although stealing sweets from the local shop isn't in the same league as stealing a TV

I used to think if the candy was on top of the container thing it was in I was allowed to eat it

Yes. I did quite a bit in Highschool. Never large items, but still it was realllllllllllllllllly stupid, and I regret doing the shoplifting now. I havent done it since highschool. Some of my friends got caught at a store/I got caught at school once.. So it kinda snapped me out of my bad habit.

well........sometimes my hand takes a lil caramel.. by "accident"

I did and caught , got myself a caution... never again !!

Pictured: Brazen thief walks into pet shop and stuffs £1,650 cockatoo into a bag

Police are hunting a brazen thief who walked into a pet shop, snatched a £1,650 Galah from its cage and stuffed it into a bag.

The youth stole the 19-week-old pink and grey Australian cockatoo from under the noses of pet store staff.

The theft was captured on CCTV which shows the culprit casually walking out of the Porton Pet and Aquatic Centre in Porton, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, on July 25.

The man, who was with an older woman and a younger boy, ripped the padlock off the cage and put the bird in a bag.

They left in an old style blue or silver Renault Megane. It is not known what sex the bird is as it is too young.

Gareth Allen, owner of the pet store, said: 'It's a wonderful bird who was hand reared so it is like a teddy bear and completely defenceless.

article-0-05F254C4000005DC-0_233x334.jpg The stolen Galah, which is worth £1,650, is only 19 weeks old and requires constant care

'These birds live for 60 to 100 years and they need a lot of care and attention which they won't get in the wrong hands.

'Bird thefts are a big market. They seemed like a family group so they could have done it for themselves or stolen it to order.

'If someone ran out of the shop with an £8,000 pond pump I wouldn't be as bothered as it's just an object, but it is the welfare of the bird that is our concern.

'These birds are not stupid, they are like children, they need a lot of work.

'Galahs are not commonly sold in pet shops so if someone has one they will be talking about it, someone must know where it is.'

The suspect is white with short dark hair and was wearing a white T-shirt with a picture on the front and jeans.

The woman was white with long blonde hair, which was darker underneath. She was wearing a white top, a long white skirt and white trainers.

The younger boy was white, in his early teens, with short dark hair and was wearing a royal blue T-shirt and dark or khaki-style trousers.

That's horrible, almost no one can take proper care of a 20-week-year-old cockatoo. :\

That offer really ruffles my feathers.

Oh, beak quiet, will you??

  • 2 weeks later...
Never.

But when I was in Kindergarten, I clearly remember stealing a small McDonald's toy from my classroom. That's the only time I think I've ever stolen something...

I did the exact same thing from my kindergarten classroom!

It was one of those Beanie Babies that McDonalds use to give out with Happy Meals. :P

Fucking hell Coldplayers are such bad people.

Those who have shoplifted something that's like $20 or less, you are retarded. Risk getting in legal trouble and having a permanent black mark on your name just to steal something $12. Genius.

  • 1 month later...

not really a shoplifting, but I remember I drank a bottle of mineral water in a grocery store, and since I'm lazy to place it among our groceries, I just hid the bottle among a stack of noodles.

some grocery stores are stupid for only putting round convex mirrors :dozey:

Plenty of times. I stole this laptop.

I almost shoplifted once. I forgot to cash out some paper or something. :P
