August 21, 201213 yr "Angels" remained the strongest track on the album Also what I thought after my first listen...
August 21, 201213 yr Just listened their first album again, immediately after listening Coexist and the first album is WAYYYYYY better....
August 22, 201213 yr Not sure yet if I like it as much as the debut or not. But one thing for sure is that I really like it. Nothing else on it tops "Angels", but I might even like "Angels" better than any song on the debut. (on the flip side, "Try" is probably the first xx song I actually dislike) "Reunion" and "Swept Away" are also great.
August 22, 201213 yr :bomb: I'm so curious and tempted... even more after reading your comments... but I'll wait until my pre-order starts downloading... :bomb:
August 22, 201213 yr So after a few listens, I like it. Not as much as xx but it's still lovely. I'm still loving their sound so I'm really enjoying the second album. :D Disappointed there's not instrumental in Coexist though.
August 22, 201213 yr did i see you see me in the moonlight? (or "in a new light" :uhoh:) never no never again. 1:59 :bomb:
August 22, 201213 yr I didn't purge myself into 'xx' but I do enjoy it, and with this album - I think I am going to love it a lot more. Reunion sticks out for me on Coexist and it will do well

August 24, 201213 yr Ok, I need to give in for one song... :embarrassed: Is this one on the album? And what is it called? edit: just seen its name is "Tides"... sorry! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJqE-i9Lris]The xx at Chats Palace, London - YouTube[/ame] Thanks in advance!!
August 24, 201213 yr Is it strange I'm still in love with the first album? Up until now, only some (alternative) rock albums have succeeded in claiming my attention all the way from when they were released till the present. It's magical.

Even after listening to Coexist, I still go back to listening to xx and find new joy in it.
September 4, 201213 yr Has everybody seen this already and I'm the last one to discover?? Can't wait for my pre-order to start downloading... http://www.npr.org/2012/09/03/160323435/first-listen-the-xx-coexist :awesome: This is so good. :dead:
September 4, 201213 yr Nope, I was just about to come here to post that. Haha. Am I the only one who feels that Coexist is missing something? Everything I listen to it, I feel a little unsatisfied - I want more but can't get it. Then I go and listen to XX to get what I can't get it. Lol. Something is missing from Coexist and I hate it. :(
September 4, 201213 yr It's missing a kickass instrumental piece like "Intro". That's all I can think of, though. I've finally concluded that it's a damn good album that's just a notch below the debut.

I think xx is one of the most definitive records of our country in recent times.
September 5, 201213 yr It's missing a kickass instrumental piece like "Intro". That's all I can think of, though. I've finally concluded that it's a damn good album that's just a notch below the debut. That and another Heart Skipped a Beat. :(
September 5, 201213 yr No? I'm getting the album so I'm waiting too. Did you not want to listen to the stream they put up?
September 5, 201213 yr Actually, I didn't even know there was a stream. I thought all of you listened to the leak. I might listen to the stream later. :)
September 6, 201213 yr Swept Away ;_____; It's a good album, but I agree that something is missing. I still prefer xx, but Coexist may grow on me.
