I must say im an oasis fan (nowhere as big as coldplay) but the comments about coldplay get to me. They couldn't just worry about their own music which was a shame and in the end lead to the downfall. Dig out your soul is a fantastic album but noel and liam had a relationship through insults in the press. How sad is that? i pity them really because i have brothers and yes we argue but in the end i couldn't insult them in the press or twitter or w/e, I heard Liam insulted noels daughther, liams a great dad and im surprised he did that because i no how much his children mean to him

The Gallaghers are great song writers and musicians, but I could never truly love or be obsessed with them or Oasis because of their horrible personalities. They have such egos.

 

Such a striking contrast to Chris:"Liam is charming, He said some rude things, but you know, we don't have an argument with anyone. We'd like to show our undying love and respect for Oasis."

 

I love how he is. So sweet and kind and peaceful. But I really hope that deep down Chris knows that he is a better person than them, and a better musician too.

As much as I love Coldplay, all the things the Gallaghers have said about them crack me up. One of the reasons I love Oasis (well, their first album, anyway) is the image of the don't-give-a-fuck rock stars who play for fun, mixed with an aura that screams that it must all be an act. They're so over the top, they're almost a a parody of "Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll."
