Speed of Sound made me look into the band. both my favorite AND least favorite Coldplay songs are from X&Y. :surprised:
September 6, 200916 yr i acutally enjoy "a whisper" - it makes a GREAT cell phone/ihome alarm! (always gets me right up!) ;) fix you is a good song but i always skip it. Not a huge fan of "bigger stronger". no hate <3

A few of the song choices in this thread have made me iffy, but this is just darn offensive! :P X&Y is a gorgeous song - probably in my top 5 (maybe in my top 3) of Coldplay songs all-time! And all the people saying Spies? Really? Spies? I'm ashamed of you all! And Yes is just plain sexy. Really. You cannot deny the sexiness that just oozes from Chris's low vocals.

X&Y is a beautiful song. The first minute of the song is amazing, but after that it is kind of so-so...but i still love it.

I don't know... :thinking: When 42 ISN'T live, it's not my favorite, however I still like it, just not the best song EVER, ya' know? :\ The only reason I REALLY, REALLY, like it live is because Jonny gives us a good ass-shakin'. :wink3: I'm sorry, I'm such a perv. :shame:
September 6, 200916 yr I used to hate "a whisper" but I'm a wee bit more tolerable about it now. Its definetly my least favourite song though.....
September 9, 200916 yr Viva La Vida because its too predictable and its pop, not rock. Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix) is also pretty poor too as it doesn't sound much different to the original.

September 9, 200916 yr I absolutely love "A whisper" and "Spies" ... I'm a Jonny girl after all :D Sorry but the only song i always skip is "Yes"... and I prefer X&Y (the album) to "VLVODAAHF"... yeah I'm that weid :)
September 10, 200916 yr I used to dislike 'A Whisper' a lot, but i guess once I get like a minute or so into the song I get used to it. Something about the beginning just turns me off right away lol. Cemeteries of London?! :o someone on the first page said it was their least favorite song and it was a bad choice to put on such an incredible album, I couldn't disagree more. it's one of my favorites and it just fits so well with the story line of Viva. Opinions are opinions though, I respect that. My least favorite song is "No more keeping my feet off the ground" :thinking:
