Just picked up the new Young Galaxy album yesterday. A few listens in and I am completely blown away.

In 2007 I gave Young Galaxy's debut album no. 2 on my chart only after In Rainbows.

Truly a spectacular band that seem to fly under the radar.

 

I've never even heard of them, which album(s) should I check out?

personally i really enjoyed lily's new album but just not top 10 quailty. her debut was an easy top 10 in 2006.

^Yeah, it's probably not going to end up particularly high on my list being the sort of thing I don't listen to often (if ever). But it had some important things to say and therefore the occasional flash of real depth (see "The Fear"), it was amazingly well written and put together, and most satisfying of all it once again puts all the pop tarts to shame, so it will definitely be on any list I write this year.
