Third-ed?
Good enough for me.

When in doubt on a soundtrack or Various Artists project, it has to have at least 80% original dedicated material.

I've still got to listen to New Moon! If It's got Muse and Bon Iver on it- It deserves a listen!

Argh... if ever anyone needed a reason to resent it... it's probably the best soundtrack since Garden State. Definitely worth a listen.

I really resented it for a while... but then I realized that if it ends up getting the teenyboppers to listen to Lykki Li and Bon Iver instead of say Lady Gaga, frankly the world will be a better place. Pity most of them will probably never realize what they have.

^ Totally agree with that statement, the whole world needs to know about Bon Iver! :D

I'm listening to the soundtrack on Spotify now! :D

very well said mate. New Moon can try all they like to get these bands out there, the reality is for as long as the record labels throw money at radio stations and other music media to flog their mediocre popstars nothing will change.

Si, if you love Bon Iver you should check out Timber Timbre. His album is available for free until Halloween. http://www.timbertimbre.com

Muse The Resistance

Its a really beautiful album.

I donno, I'm in favour of having the New Moon Soundtrack and other OST if they have maybe at least 80% brand spankin new tracks.

Plus Dark Was the Night, the 100% brand spankin new tracks charity VA ;)

Good enough for me.

What about live various artists projects (as in Live on Later with Jools Holland 2, Live Lounge 4 [which also features covers])?

Thanks for the heads up! :) I will download it! I am just in awe of Bon Iver, the whole backstory and the brilliant music, it's just amazing! Have you checked out Volcano Choir (Justin Vernon's, the guy from Bon Iver, other band!) they are really good!

^Yeah. Still haven't been blown away by the album or anything though.

I'm listening to it now and have already made up my mind that I prefer Bon Iver, but I am enjoying it 4 songs in :)

Thats awesome. I would say I also like Bon Iver more. But you can definitely see the similarities eh? Yet its not like a cheap rip off or cover band, Timber Timbre has been making music for a while now.

I see similarities with Fleet Foxes aswell! :)

The Deadline is
Sunday, December 6th.

That means there is now just under
1 MONTH LEFT!

Please make sure that your final lists are updated by that time. :)

Shit this is hard to

1 - Narrow it down to 25

2 - Rank them

I have around 30 albums that I'll be choosing from.
