What do you all think of this? It has me worried. I think it may be too soon. I'm excited for a new album, just like anybody else, but I want it to be great and Coldplay has never disappointed me...yet. Let's not make it a first!:uhoh:

The leftovers from Viva are on Prospekt's March. Most others have been/will be scrapped.

Ive just realised the date of the article is Sep 2008...so they are obviously talking about Prospekt's March.....and the rest I reckon is all made up.

They originally said Prospekt's March would come out in November 2008 and their 5th LP would come out in December 2010.

 

This was last summer, though, and there's no way that's still true. They're not even in the studio yet. :wink:

Is it me, or do people place far too much weight on that 2008 article about a new album so soon? Things change, and that was well before Coldplay had much of the 2009 tour even planned. Likewise, they have had far less time in the studio.

guys don't really know which rumours are you talking about....the once where chris said last year or early this year that they will release an album in 2009 are dead long time ago.

We have like 5 threads talking about a possible new album which they at the mo have barley starting recording, so my guess we all chill out give them a rest and if we are lucky we get an album in 2011!

we can all just guess cant we but none of us really no. I think we sit back and stay calm and the rest will follow. I dont think Coldplay will disappear tho, i predict live dvd and then an album is anyones guess, we've had such a good year and a half. They have spoilt us rotten

personally I am quite happy that there will be a break now...as overexposure is never good :)

I think that they will take a long break. And they deserve it.

December is far too soon!

They will not release a new album in 2009, give it at least 2 or 3 years.
