Today in English class, we had to answer a few questions on a piece of paper, and we had to say how we practice English outside of school. One of the things I said was that I like listening to music, especially the British band Coldplay, that I watch interviews of them, that I read blogs and posts on forums such as Coldplaying.com and interact with people from all around the world to catch up on the band's latest news. :wacky:

 

However I did not mention the crazy fangirling part of that routine :lol:

Oh man you're so right! :lol: I didn't learn English in school, I learned using/browsing the internet. I mean my English is anything but perfect, but people can understand me, and that's what matters most to me :D

 

I think it started when I watched HOUSE MD on streaming websites and I was totally a fan when it was airing in 2005 or something, so I just watched the English episodes :lol:

 

And then I got into this forum and I learned how to use the colloquially english, phrases and sayings and differences from British/American English.

It must mean they haven't heard Italians :stunned: So few people can speak it. Also because, until like 15 years ago French was considered more important for one's education so English wasn't taught that much. That's why I'm the youngest in my family and the one who knows it best (kinda) :lol:
