Before making my list, I have to say that I really loved all the music this time around. It was all so varied that every song had its own special reason I liked it. Anyway, in no particular order..

Strawberry Swing - I just love it, I don't really know why

Life in Technicolour (either one really) - I love the eclectic instruments in it, and the way it just builds up and up, and I also LOVE the lyrics in ii.

The Goldrush - This song makes me sad because I wish I could've heard it live somehow.

Death and All His Friends - Not the song overall so much as the piano/guitar breakdown in the middle, which is BRILLIANT.

Lovers in Japan - Just something about the way that tack piano rolls that makes this song amazing!

Though I hate leaving out Now My Feet Won't Touch The Groud (I absolutely love how they had subtle horns in that song) and Violet Hill because I've listened to that song about 350 times and I still love it, I think those 5 are my 'favorites' :)

I like lists, although they tend to change pretty often. But for now, it would look like this:

1. Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix)

2. Prospekt's March/Poppyfields

3. Chinese Sleep Chant

4. Glass of Water

5. Viva la Vida

Although I'm pretty tired of Viva la Vida at the moment, it's still an epic song, especially live.

My choices:

1. Violet Hill. SO glad this finally saw the light of day, the lyrics are incredible, so emotional and evocative.

2. Lost+. I can't now listen to Lost! without feeling like it's missing something without JayZ. I'm probably one of the only people that thinks that.

3. Viva la Vida. Stunning piece of ORIGINAL writing! It was so brave of them to come back with this after X&Y.

4. Life in Technicolor ii. I was so pleased to hear the full version of this on Prospekt. Amazing live.

5. Lovers in Japan. Just gorgeous, uplifting and beautiful.

It's all amazing though.

my choice...

1- LiT I and Death and All His friends... both stunning, great opening and great close!I think they give the best sample of the Viva spirit...

2- Strawberry Swing...I can't help clap my hands whenever I hear it!and it makes me think of a perfect, perfect day....

3- Lost! , this song is almost a mantra for me

4- 42

5- postcards from far away...just precious.

I think that cemetries and lovers should be in the list, too, but there's no space! and violet hill...the "if you love me, why'd you let me go" is straightforwarrd and heartbreaking at the same time...

Well, it's very hard to pick only 5 songs, but I'll have a try...

1. Lovers in Japan (Always makes me feel SO warm and fuzzy inside because it reminds me of the atmosphere at the gigs)

2. Cemeteries of London (My "first love" of VLVODAAHF)

3. Life in Technicolor ii (Another song that brings back all the great concert memories)

4. Violet Hill (Beautiful, beautiful lyrics!)

5. Viva La Vida (Such an epic song! Plus this era wouldn't be quite the same without it anyway. ;))
