The last time I went to a "festival" (if you can call Sound Relief one), my friends and I survived on hot chips and Gaytimes.

Ha, I did V Festival from 12pm-10:30pm on 4 museli bars.

^^ That is quite amazing.

I hope they open all the nacho and pizza shops they have during the Sydney Royal Easter Show during Big Day Out.

If I'm reading the map correctly, they should all be within the BDO grounds.

lol, but its not a competition.... Yeah, they usually have a good selection of food, well for Melbourne.. I guess Sydney would too.

I suppose what I meant was that I'll still eat throughout the day, but dinner itself can wait til after... sorry, now I'm just being picky :P

If the food's anything like it was on Oaks day it should be OK.

Well, it'll just be a few stands.. I don't know what they had at the races. It's a good venue to have it in Melb, if the grass is green.....

the auckland show is very close now. so i was wondering. are we banning the posting of setlists and the like on this thread?

Yeah, but I don't mind knowing what is going to be played... I mean, I will watch Channel V's live coverage of the sydney BDO on Sat 23rd just so I get a feel for what i am in for.. plus they may show the bands I am missing!

Ahh, how I wish I had Austar! :bomb:

But yeah, I don't really mind either.

Oh, and two weeks today for me! And Alex!

Yeah, oh god 2 weeks will go fast.

I found this on http://www.accuweather.com, probably likely to change for the later dates but could still be a help to some:

High 29 °C, Feel like 38 °C

Sydney, Friday, Jan 22

Mostly cloudy, warmer and very humid. Winds from the NNW at 14 km/h

High: 31 °C, Feel like 42 °C

Sydney, Saturday, Jan 23

Turning colder but humid with intervals of clouds and sunshine. Winds from the SE at 11 km/h

I wouldn't take any notice of this if it's not BoM. Modelling only runs for a maximum 14 days ahead - this site advertises 15. and it's not entirely reliable more than 7 days. Anything past the Gold Coast date is a bit of nonsense! Not to mention that these sites use second hand information from BoM and not their own info.

Brisbane is forecast to be mostly fine and 30 on Sunday.

Will have to wait until tomorrow for Gold Coast forecast but it will be fairly similar.

This is the site to use:

www.bom.gov.au

Lol. That thing is so innacurate. The current feels like (apparent temperature) for Hobart is 20. The official 'feels like' apparent temperature is 12.1.

God I hope it isn't above 30. It was 26 last year and it was PERFECT.

31 and Mainly fine is the forecast for Sunday at the Gold Coast. Will make for a balmy evening!

Although you are right, mid-20s is perfect!

Muse have reached New Zealand and are currently playing cricket with none other than Lily Allen?

I can't wait to see the Twitpics of them in Australia! Not long to go now.

lol it thinks its offensive.

Does the board censor stuff? :laugh3:

Seeing as I'll be home all day because BDO is fucking R15... I'll be posting stuff from twitter and other places :)
