Hahahaha sucker I still have mine because it was in my handbag that I can conveniently loop around so it won't fall off

If you want to keep it and you're bringing a bag like that chuck it in, otherwise if you just put it in a pocket or something you'll lose it a) by having it fall out b) by pit c) by weather

I usually keep my ticket in my back pocket.

Most of my tickets are intact because I always buy normal "cardbord" type tickets.

It's only when my friends buy tickets that they end up turning to mush. :laugh3:

YOUR FRIENDS MUST BE CURSED BUY YOUR OWN TICKETS OMG!!

  • 3 weeks later...

The timetable and map should be out in a couple of weeks. Exciting times.

Only been to 2 BDO's so far but I missed this years one :( So I'm definitely going next year. Looking forward to it, depsite the not so great line up.

Hmm, this year's was brilliant.

:( I suspected as much...

Did you check out Neil Young?? I really like him, but everyone said they wish he wasn't headlining. I guess cos Rage was so awesome the year before, and having Neil the year after was a change in pace

Watched him for 5 songs, then went to see the dropkick murphys. Pretty much everyone went straight to the Prodigy in the boiler room

Auckland's timetable is up. This is what I would see if I was going to the Auck one and not melb... SO many clashes Grrrr.....

Haha, I was looking at that only an hour ago! I got really excited and then realised it was for Auckland :p

Still, shouldn't be too long! Good selection of bands, I would probably do something similar.

Yeah, get rid of kasabian and its clash-free. But I have to add the midnight juggernauts in for melb and prob some others...

You do realise you need time to get from stage to stage through crowds, right?

Yeah, otherwise I will get shit spots.... but converse and green are next to each other, likewise with blue/orange so it shouldn't be too bad.

Okay, so Muse may still announce sideshows.

We are debating whether to do NO side shows so we can have excuse to come back to aus again later in 2010 with our full show.

They've left it pretty late though.

I think they'll probably just do an Australian tour.

What can't they do both?!

They can't do them while BDO is on because in Melb at least, the only venues (rod laver, hisence and etihad stadium) are all used for a leauge and the australian open tennis. They could have shows at festival hall, but they'd have to have 3 or 4...

I wouldn't expect them to be playing at one of the bigger venues though.

Not for a sideshow anyways.

Hmm, me too. I hope the Melbourne timetable isn't the same (though I suspect it will be), otherwise I'll miss out on seeing some artists that I want to see for fear of missing out on a good spot for muse :(

I'm gonna start waiting for Muse at the Blue Stage during Lily Allen.

Since I'm going to BDO with my sister, she's gonna make me watch Groove Armada afterwards.

I don't like listening to other music after seeing a band I like, it kinda kills the mood.

Yeah me too, though that would mean I'd miss out on at least some of Temper Trap and all of Powderfinger :(

OH MY GOD!!! A leak. Will prob be the same as Melbourne's if this isn't a FAKE!!!!!!!

Firstly: On Muse sideshows. They would play the big venues, they have had consistent #1 albums and a massive fan base because they are a good alternative band that get decent radio airplay.

Secondly: On that timetable. Ignore it, Melb fans. This is the ttbl for the 100th BDO - because it says "special appearance" twice... Anyways it sucks, there are clashes galore...

If I was at that sydney concert, and it was the real ttbl, think my day would be (considering I saw Kasabian the night b4)
